The $82 ribeye was not particularly flavorful in addition to being tough. The nonalcoholic drink listed Elderflower syrup as a key ingredient, but after trying it and asking the waiter why it didn't seem to have that flavor, he, upon asking, learned that the bar used simple syrup because they were out of Elderflower. The sautéed kale was gritty and lacked flavor—they need to d a better job of washing it and perhaps make it creamed. And lastly, the Mac & Cheese was not particularly cheesy. Overall, an expensive and disappointing dinner.

Ordered mushroom risotto and it tasted like water with no seasoning. Even the mushrooms were tasteless. Other parties in our group also thought the same. Overall the restaurant is over priced for the quality of food

I booked the Fairmount to celebrate my engagement to my partner and the team pulled out all the stops. The restaurant manager sat us at the most beautiful table beside the fire and all the staff came over to congratulate us. We were made to feel very special by our incredible waiter , Chris. The food was absolutely outstanding, as were the drinks in the cocktail lounge after our meal. My expectation were high, but they were well exceeded. Thank you so much to the whole team - 5 stars!
