I need to say nothing more than you would have to go to another planet to possibly find a more outstanding dining experience, from the food, the wine to the excellent service.

The first time I went the soup was very liquid like a water and weird two week ago, I saw the table next us they got the tomatoes gin soup with the big bowl so this time i decided to add extra $6 for the tomatoes gin soup but it come with very small so i was very disappointed. My friends they didn't upgrade the soup but they soup literally completed different then what we went last time even is the same soup. So the kitchen, the quality control is not that good. I asked about this to the server he is not unhappy about my question he only said different chef ?!!??? WTF after we asked for more bread he said he don't have the regular bread so he bring us cold baguette !!! How is this possible happen in the fine dining restaurant !!!!!!

Everything was FANTASTIC. Service, food and ambience were excellent. An annual Anniversary tradition for us and the restaurant did not disappoint. Best Wishes to Maddy (who served us same time last year). She was the reason we came back this year and we wish her well on her maternity leave. We'll be back !!!

The atmosphere here was very nice...except that we were placed right at the entrance, and the traffic and noise coming from the less upscale arena outside the door was less than ideal. Otherwise the service was great, and the food was great also. One comment would be on the overall quality of the meat...I have eaten some 'USDA Prime' in my day, and I would say these cuts were just 'Choice'. That said, everything was cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend the scallop appetizer...hard to find a real finely done scallop, but these definitely hit-the-mark! Wine selection was almost baffling, but the server assisted our selection and was a great choice. Pricing seemed a bit much, but its in the Fairmont Hotel after all, so I guess that is just par-for-the-course. Overall a very good experience, so I hate to nit-pick...just noting my thoughts. We will absolutely return on our next trip!

Have been going to the Grill Room nearly 15 years and it’s been my gold standard for the most exceptional dining experience. Something has sadly changed in the past year and the food is now a shadow of its former self. Very disappointing.

Service was great. Food was so so. Had the rib eye and it was not the best for the price. The ambience was nice but don't expect a lot from the food. Our server was great and appreciated the birthday/anniversary touch at the moment end.

A truly wonderful experience. The food was amazing and it was the perfect end to our three week family holiday. The service was excellent, especially from Robert who served us. He was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and polite and courteous.

We had such a wonderful experience dining here. Everything was 100% top notch. Our server was amazing. The oysters and the halibut were delicious and fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the Fairmont.

This is the second time to the grill room & it did not disappoint. The tomato gin soup is exceptional. I’d like to also mention the professionalism and outstanding service of Craig, Megan and callum who all made our dinner outstanding. Hands down best restaurant in Whistler.
