Great service, great ambiance. Make a reservation by phone early to get a table. The lounge takes walk ins but fills on busy nights. It's busy but still really good. For those not from the area, The Keg is a well-known mid-higher-end steakhouse chain with consistently good food and locations.Braxton is the most attentive server me and my friends have ever had, while somehow not seeming stressed or worried. They accommodated our requests for keeping gluten separate on so many things and a manager came out to make sure it was all planned and done okay. Thanks so much for a great night out with great food! The french onion soup never disappoints for the rich umami. Can also recommend the mushrooms neptune. Check out the dessert menu too. I always ask for it at the same time as the regular menu so I can plan my meals out. Next time I will get less savoury and leave room for a Billy Miner Pie of ice cream cake style (from memory). Cola was refillable, which I appreciate.

We went in yesterday as a walk. 4 of us, 2 strollers. We were told there was a 45 min wait. We hesitantly obliged. We waited beside the hostess for the entire 45 mins. 20 mins in We confirmed there was an elevator to bring our strollers up. They confirmed and told us the route.Close to an hr they let us know that our table was ready. The kicker is they failed to mention that we could not bring our strollers up. One of the strollers does not have an attachment that we can remove the bassinet attached. We waited 1 hr, at 9pm, only to be told we could not eat there. We explained this to be manager and he gave a simple sorry with no offer of compensation or sympathy. If you have a baby you know that going and waiting at another restaurant at 10pm (after our 1 hr wait) is not possible. We went home and ate a bag of chips. The service I'm whistler has generally taken a hit over the last couple of years but this was incredibly frustrating. The keg is a place we go to as a family quite often and feel like the service should be same across the franchise. But whistler location def did not get the memo.

Food was amazing!! Service was great. We had sirloin and prime rib. The sirloin was full of flavor. The butter that came with the bread was an 11 out of 10. It was that good.

We visit Whistler every year and dining at The Keg has become our tradition! Last evening, we were excited to share this experience with our cousins. Unfortunately the dining experience was a huge flop. It took well over an hour for our entree's to come to the table. I ordered a medium well sirloin steak and it was completely charred...ok is was burned. When I advised the waiter, he agreed. About 20 minutes later, I received a new plate. The new plate was great but our party had already finished their plates so it left me eating along. The Manager did come out to apologize and he removed my plate from the bill. Let's hope this was an isolated incident and that things will be better when we return next ski season!!!

Outstanding meat quality at the Keg. Melt in your mouth steaks grilled to perfection. Friendly, knowledgeable staff helped us with menu choices and suggested a very good BC wine which nicely complemented our meal.

We had the most delicious prime rib dinner at the Keg. It goes up 4 floors. We were on the 3th floor with a view out the window of the Blizzard. Our waitress was excellent. We had a 7:15 reservation but they were able to accommodate the 2 of us at 6:30. I highly recommend.

Our server Braxton was absolutely a delight. Although very busy he did not once miss a step with us. Friendly. Happy. Professional. He did fantastic. He is a great asset to your team. I watched him with all his customers and not once did he change his demeanour It made our dinner a great experience Only one issue I had was the table cleaner who was doing a great job til they used the same cloth they use to wipe the table to wipe the seats as well. I didn't find that very sanitary. Thank you

The 3 of us ordered the 10oz prime rib classic, it did taste very good however it was not a typical prime rib you would get, you know that thick nice shape piece of meat, this was more like a large slice of roast beef beef that was extremely thin and you could see through it in places. Mine was at least 1/3 of pure fat, the other 2 did not have that issue. The Caesar salad was nothing more than romaine lettuce with runny dressing that wouldn't stick to the lettuce and a couple of pieces of Parmesan cheese, no croutons. The keg Caesar salad use to be my favourite, I will never order it again. For the price of 80$ a person including a drink (tax and tip in). I am certain you can find better food. The service was good however there was a mix up in the kitchen with their printer and we were over an hour waiting for our meal. Overall a disappointment and I won't be returning anytime soon.
