Well done. Loved the salads the most. Good seafood soup and short ribs. Everyone loved the tartare. The brunch is really good. Do it.

Dined in several times at this restaurant and our recent experience was the best by far! Everything that we ordered were very flavourful and plated very nicely. I highly recommend any of their lamb dishes and we also always opt in for their special and it never disappoints. A must try restaurant in Whistler!

Attended the wildflower for breakfast today. We tried the buffet. Selection is amazing and the food overall was very good. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. The issue we had was the gentleman operating the omelet station. He was very distracted with conversations with other guests. There was one other person at the omelet station that he was gabbing with for 2-3 minutes about his personal life story. I had to interrupt him to ask for 3 over medium eggs. He proceeded to absolutely butcher my order so I told him that I would get some scrambled eggs from the hot plates. Our server overheard my dissatisfaction with the interaction and assured me that it was unacceptable. He tried again. She brought me 3 more eggs that she said admitted weren’t the best… I declined.Upon receiving the bill she told me that it was the cooks first day and that he had misunderstood my order. She said she spoke to the kitchen and that tomorrow I could order my eggs from them apposed to the omelet guy. I really don’t understand how that makes up for the second set of eggs that were also poorly cooked and presented.I’m okay with paying $100 for two people to have breakfast if the standards match the price. The fairmont we frequent in toronto has an immaculate breakfast buffet.

Watch out your bill. They charged 15% gratuity automatically without telling me. I tipped 15-25% at the restaurant and the bar in the pool during my stay. Also, I ordered a latte and they told me that is not included in the buffet when I paid the bill. Wow. Latte was not included in the $43 buffet and wasn’t told when I ordered it.Not recommended.

Enjoyed dinner at The Wildflower on our last night in Whistler. The scallops as a starter were awesome. Loved the west coast seafood chowder. The beef short rib was exquisite. Excellent service. Looking forward to our next visit.

We were here for a wedding July 2023. The menu was set as we were with a big party. The choice of appetizers was mediocre, so was the taste. The main was great, i had short ribs. The dessert never came. After 2.5 hours, and many apologies from the waitress, we decided to leave the restaurant.

There breakfast buffet is delicious . Lots of verity. The omelet line up can be long at times . Seating area is good and comfortable . There sometimes be a lineup to get inside and sometimes fully booked so reservations i good idea especially on a weekend or holidays .

Once we got our meals, ( the service was slow) they were delicious and enormous servings, I had the salmon with a side of brussel sprouts ( one of my favourite vegetables) I could have eaten the whole bowl, they were delicious! Hubby had the bison & lumberjack fries & was also very happy with his meal choice. The only let down was the cost of drinks, a glass of wine $18!
Dinner was OK. Tomato and coconut soup to start, I couldn’t taste the coconut and a striploin steak, rare, was OK but only had Dijon mustard. Two ipas to drink, no, or very little flavour, the cost of the ipas was knocked off the bill which was a very nice gesture from Amer. The bill was $200 for the two of us which was a bit top heavy but not too bad, very pleasant surroundings.

Disappointing with the experience at the wildflower. I don’t know what happened to the Fairmont. It used to be a luxury hotel, but now it’s crawling with people in every corner. Expect nothing different at the wildflower. We went for the breakfast buffet. my wife, and I found ourselves in a crowded buffet. We could barely hear our voices. The worst part was that the service was terrible. The server himself was very good and kind, but overworked. He was serving too many tables. Meanwhile, there were lots of people around working at the restaurant, but many of them were chatting with each other at times. The croissants and baked goods seemed stale. My wife found the muffins to be hard. The omelet station was excellent, that was the best part. Overall, we expected much more. We won’t be coming back.

The food and atmosphere are great! We went twice once got the buffet and once ordered from the menu. They were both great. Only the staff sometimes weren’t as welcoming. We went for breakfast at 9:45 and didn’t know it ends at 10:30. No body told us either. So we took our time with coffee and some fruit and suddenly were informed that the restaurant is closed. When asked when the restaurant is going to close one of the staff replied 10min ago with a sarcastic tone. I would recommend training the staff better and hiring the ones that really enjoy the job than the ones that are there to pay the bills.

Amer was incredible. He asked about our stay, we told him it wasn’t good. He made every effort to make us feel as comfortable and happy as possible. He should be the one managing this hotel. His ability to bring service of the outmost quality is amazing.
