Came in with some friends for a few beers after riding. There was 6 of us and as we went to settle up, I inserted my card into the machine. Before I had a chance to select a tip option, the bartender snatched the terminal out of my hand and with a snarky remark mentioned your auto gratuity policy and proceeded to select 20%.Firstly this was not disclosed until after we had finished our beers, although ridiculous I can live with that. However, the fact your staff thought it appropriate to in the middle of the transaction take control of my payment method, is insane. Imagine I opened my wallet to pay, and they just helped themselves…

A must visit in Whistler. Hugues, Jenni and Damien really know how to provide great service. Would recommend a crisp Black Tusk to my friends any day post-ride.

A great atmosphere & very welcoming staff. Whistler Brewing is a great tap house, with plenty of space for large groups. A perfect stop when visiting Fubction Junction!

Some of the reviews say that they were not helped or that the server was rude. HOWEVER, we did not experience any of that! The server was down to earth, and extremely helpful in selecting a cold beverage to enjoy! The food is pretty typical, but the pizza was delicious. Would highly recommend!
I've always loved their beer so I knew I wanted to visit when we took a trip to whistler and it did not disappoint! We got a flight so we could try some we weren't familiar with and our server was so helpful and very well educated on the beers and the brewery. We found some new favorites like the chestnut wheat ale. We sat on the patio and luckily they are dog friendly! The restaurant has more of a homey warehouse feel which is super cool. Love how it feels more of a local gem rather than touristy. We also ordered some appies and we really enjoyed them. How could you go wrong with potato skins though! They have a little market so you can pick up some cold beers to take home as well. Overall highly recommend stopping by. We will definitely be back next time we are in whistler.

Lovely hostess/waitress. Great and interesting beers. Nachos as big as your face. Everything was good. Got a six pack of the chestnut beer to take back over to the States - it was unique and tasted like dessert ... But not too sweet, just rich and lovely.
