Missed opportunity to convert a nice place at first sight into a decent dining experience
Let’s be clear here, it’s first price frozen food. From the salad to the steak, it’s a shame to price a double cheeseburger at 18$ and 8$ for a (big) portion of cheap fries.
Hopefully, there is a great assortment of sauces that will help you to cover the bad industrial taste.

Don’t go there until they change their food provider.

When I'm visiting Whistler, it feels like a must to get their poutine; it's great put simply, and the cheeseburgers are solid too. The fries are on point, not too crispy or soggy. The beef gravy is rich and salty, and the 'vegan' one is soupy in flavour; both are good either way. The cheese curds are satisfying, though I wish there were more. I'm not sure if it's quite enough even when ordering extra. The sausages you can get on your poutine add to an already satiating dish, though I'm not really a fan of cheese smokies, so the Mexican poutine wasn't my favourite compared to the all beef and bratwurst options, especially when I didn't notice much of the jalapeno aspect of the smokie as advertised. Nevertheless, jalapenos are available separately free of charge, along with pickles, fried onions, and maybe sauerkraut. Plus your usual condiments, like ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, BBQ sauce, HP sauce, and 'hot sauce'. I've read about some grumbling about the soulless service, and I agree, though I'm not mad (except that they request tips despite this). This is a food stand, and nobody should be expecting over the top attention from a place like that. The service could be slightly faster in all honesty; sometimes you could see staff not really doing anything and walking away occasionally, but in my visits, I haven't seen any lineups surprisingly, despite being in the heart of Whistler Village. Also, I'd like some more seating; there are only two tables. Bottom line: service is attentive only where necessary, and is gradual once your order has been placed, not slow. Prices are high, though not extreme for Whistler standards. I'd 100% recommend this spot for anyone near the Whistler Village Gondola looking for fries, plus gravy, or poutine, along with burgers, and hot dogs. A few sodas are offered, though I go elsewhere for greater selection in the drink department.

We got sick off the hotdogs for more than 48 hours. Hopefully you don't need to go on a plane too soon after eating there. The poutine is not poutine, of course. They use hot chicken sauce. Barely any curds and frozen fries. Do not go!!! We should have gone to one of the restaurants instead of expensive cheap uncooked hotdogs and fake poutine.

TLDR: Really rude front desk service.
Needless to say I skipped the tip.
Didn’t even want to waste my energy writing this but here we are.
Also, they don’t know how to make fries

Edit: No response from management after sending detailed breakdown of what actually happened. Here is a summarized version for other patrons so they are informed as well:

I visited Zogs while in Whistler for my wife’s birthday and had an unpleasant experience with the staff member taking my order. A simple menu question was met with rudeness, and the interaction felt unnecessarily hostile, with a tone that suggested bias. Additionally, the fries we received were undercooked. I’m sharing this in the hope it brings awareness to an experience that felt out of place in a region known for its hospitality.
