Wonderful coffee, lots of regulars and a great space to visit with lots of natural light. Their lattes are delicious as are their cinnamon buns and scones.

Paid $6.25 for a 20oz iced mocha. Recieved a medium (maybe 12oz) after an extreme wait time. After taking one sip it was horrible. Im not sure who taught the people there how to make coffee but they should also take a training course. In their defence I should have gone back to get it fixed but I didnt realize until i was down the block. Yikes.

Might be the worst latte I've ever had. Ordered an oat milk latte and was disappointed it tasted soapy and watered down. Then when I went to add some sugar I found there was no milk and sugar station or anything out to dress your coffee. You have to ask the barista for everything. Key to use the washroom. It's like they are expecting someone to come in and rob and abuse the entire store. Just overall a very poor experience. This used to be a very nice place and every other bean around the world establishment I've had a pleasant experience but this was really bad

Delicious drip coffee of the day.
Kid-friendliness: So kind to my 10 year old who ordered his own hot chocolate. He described the temperature as perfect to drink right away.

I was very disappointed as I got myself an oatmilk cappuccino paid Xtra and they don't use the barrista oatmilk, just the regular. Also the pumpkin loaf was stale. Last time I was there the lemon loaf was stale.
My friend and i stopped today at the white rock location. My drink was made quite quickly and delcious. However, we were waiting for my friend's drink, it seemed like the cashier didnt pass the order to the brista. We were waiting while it seemed the staff were cleaning. Cashier disappeared to chat with someone she knew. After a few minute, the brista asked if we were waiting for another drink, which we said yes. He didnt know what drink we were waiting for and my friend had to let him know. Of course he didnt asked for a size and he grabbed the smallest size. Luckily my friend noticed it and let him know the size she ordered. Would def NOT recommend this place. So disorganized and no system in place.

I spent 8.20 dollars on my large iced latte , tipped 1.80 for an even $10 spend. I dropped my coffee outside as I walked away. I brought the empty cup back inside and they charged me for a replacement. This to me is bizzare, greedy and not custom service. I understand the spill was my doing but this happens all the time in the service industry and we don’t penalize the customer for dropping something. It’s a cost the business takes on (spillage, waste, damage) etc. Mike the owner I presume said they would only charge me for a small instead... I don’t know with so many other options for coffee around here, you’re much better off going down a block to island cafe or just across the street to grounds and greens, or up to pelican rouge or even Starbucks. Very unfortunate.
This is the most premium location in downtown White Rock. It's a shame the coffee and food is not of the same caliber. Nothing is home made, fresh or unique about any of the items that are offered here. Such a great central spot to go I really think a business should offer more then mediocre coffee and costco banana bread.

Hi,
I am a regular to purchase coffee (specially rainforest org whole bean). I travel from Surrey King George once in two weeks to buy small batches so I don't loose any of the goodness.
Today was such a day but the staff who attended needs training , she looked lost there is this young gentleman who attends immediately and also packs the coffee and labels it (such an awesome soul !). Today was not at all BEAN standards the young lady was running around , packed the coffee and and handed it. And it was not busy at all but waited and zero communication. I love this place and the coffee they have I did not even bother for the bill etc just left.

The absolute worst coffee I have ever had.. had to throw it out . And don't get me started on what they call lemon loaf.. never to return when there are half a dozen amazing coffee shops within spitting distance.. sterile environment and incredibly uncomfortable seating... server behind the counter was the only bright spot..

Very disappointed in the smoothie situation here at the Bean, ordered a strawberry smoothie, by definition a smoothie should have real fruit. I paid $8 for juice and ice blended. What a let down.

Had the chai late ... the worst I have ever had. Certainly would not recommend it to anyone. This being said, it was the only menu item I tried. Will give it another go but try another hot drink.... or just go to Starbucks.
