Neil ALWAYS gives the utmost excellent service! He could likely run/ manage a fine dining restaurant, with they way he presents himself. His attention to your every detail is Exquisite! I came to this restaurant around 8:30 PM, not realizing they were closing at 9. The last time I came, one of the employees told me I needed to make a reservation before coming in, so this time I thought I’d ask ahead. I don’t know if it bothered the host that we showed up at 8:30, but he could have easily told us to come back another time instead of giving us rude and unwanted attitude.
When I walked in, I asked if I could make a reservation. He said, “for?” I replied, “for two people,” and then he said again, “for…” in a rude tone. I said, “for dine-in,” and he again asked, “for??” over and over. Finally, my friend interrupted and said, “for tonight.” Only then did he respond. I was so shocked and felt humiliated. I hope this wasn’t because I am brown.
To the guy at the front — I think your name starts with K — If this is funny to you, it’s not. I don’t know if you’re a server, a host or even the owner, that doesn’t give you any right to treat anyone like that. People come to enjoy a meal, not to be spoken to like they’re an inconvenience. If dealing with customers is such a pain for him, maybe he shouldn’t be the one doing it.
I’ve never had such a bad experience at any restaurant, and it wasn’t even my first time coming here. His attitude made me feel completely unwelcome, and I left without eating.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for dinner last night. We’ve been here before and usually enjoy the food, but unfortunately this time was disappointing. My wife ordered a bowl of clam chowder with bread, and right away she said the soup tasted off. We didn’t want to make a scene, so we finished our meal and paid the bill, including a tip.
However, when we got home around midnight, my wife became very sick and started throwing up everything she had eaten. She felt awful for the rest of the night. I strongly suspect the clam chowder was made from an expired can. We won’t be ordering their soup again, and I hope the restaurant takes food freshness more seriously.
The owner’s response to my concern was interesting, but the fact remains — your restaurant’s food made my wife sick.

This restaurant was recommended to us. We had invited friends from across the border to join. We were all pleasantly surprised. Food, service and environment was great. It is a busy place.We will recommend this restaurant and we will return. We traveled from Pitt Meadows.
We ordered at 2:10pm, now is 2:45pm, still no food. Too much waiting.

Ordered food -food runner took it to wrong table. Server tried was going to serve it to me until she noticed other customer ate some. Brought back new plate after waitress stated don’t worry the chef made a big pot. My new dish was a much smaller portion. Then I was told I was getting 50% off because I had to watch my co pilot east their meal, and I got no discount. Terrible food and experience

Went there in Aug 2023, mice running around. Then decided to go again on Oct 3, 2025 to enjoy my last night on the west coast, then a rat was running around. Never again. God knows where else they run around on especially in the kitchen.
