Excellent flat white and delicious ham cheese danish. I wouldn’t recommend the matcha latte tho, but maybe the taste suits their average clientele.
Beautiful place! Nice service, beautiful food, very nicely decorated and designed shop! So tasty and fresh! The coffee was wonderful! The peppermint mocha was rich, delicious and not too sweet.

Chez Christophe is a lovely coffee shop in White Rock with great coffee, delicious treats, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quality cup of coffee. Highly recommended!
Beautifully made chocolate gift baskets with exceptional quality and great service. Perfect for corporate gifts—highly recommend!
The cakes are beautifully made and on the decadent side. They are a nice rich treat. Would recommend the tiramisu cake. The lemon tart and mango and passion fruit cakes were tasty too. Having the cakes with a cup of tea or coffee will nicely balance the sweetness.
I stopped by this coffee shop today, and honestly, I have mixed feelings. The croissants were super tasty and the coffee was really good, so no complaints there.
But the vibe… wasn’t it. From the second we walked in, it felt like we were being rushed through a line at airport security. No warmth, no welcome, just “order, pay, move.” The woman taking my food order was also pretty short with me. I asked a simple question about whether the hazelnut croissant had any trace of almonds in it (allergy), and her response was blunt and not helpful at all.
I love coffee shops that feel intentional and inviting, where you can slow down for a minute. This place just didn’t give that energy. Even though the food and coffee were good, the way we were rushed and talked to really put me off. Not sure I’d go back because of that.
On the pricy side for a Montrealer, but the cakes are to die for!
I can't say enough. Anya, the manager was a DREAM. THANK YOU THANK YOU. You all made for such a fantastic experience.
Nothing better than ordering a mocha with one of their pastries! I say “cheat” days shouldn’t be once a week, let’s make them a daily ritual.
It was that I was looking for! Sometimes you want really delicious and ecstatic cake. You want something special for you on a rainy day. Finally, I found it here.

Food and service are as always top notch and we usually come every weekend but the noise level from drinks being called out and the acoustics from patrons speaking at all volume levels really but a dent in the overall experience. After a hectic week trying to take a load off with a cup of Java and a perfectly crafted dessert, the experience the last two visits was sadly diminished. I guess future trips to Chez will be limited to just take out. Again, the beef is just with the dining-in portion, quality of food and the friendly staff are above par.
The pastries are fresh and taste great, and there are a lot of different cake flavors that are usually excellent.
Lovely cafe with wide selections of tasty pastries, cakes and chocolates. I wish they'd have more cozy seating area to enjoy our drinks, especially during cold or rainy season.
Staff was friendly, and their desserts and bakery items were delicious. Highly recommended.
Really enjoy their coffee and pastries but their hours are horrible.
