This is my second choice for fish and chips after the other famous fish and chips restaurant in Whote Rock. Good taste of fish and chips, great service and they give you big portion of food. We had that good fish and chips, calamari and hubby got cheese burger.
There is a hot debate, amongst locals about the best place to get fish and chips, but this place has been around for a long time for a reason. The portions are huge, the fish is delicious, and so are the fries. It’s a little bit different coleslaw than most people are used to, with a vinegar dressing instead of a creamy one, but it is delicious. Trust me, if you normally order two pieces, one will be big enough for you here.
Great Fish and Chips spot..I was referred there by locals who advised that tourists go to a nearby spot, but locals go to Coney Island Seafood.
Had the Halibut..it was delicious, the batter was not too thick, the fries were perfectly cooked..it was clearly evident they keep the cooking oil clean because the fries didn't have a dark look and didn't taste burnt..the service was kind and friendly.
