We visit the beach for ice cream often and always love to go to Crazy Cows. The ice cream is delicious and the staff is always kind and helpful.
We do want to give an extra shout out to Blake for his customer service on our latest visit. When my daughter couldn't decide on which flavour, he offered her samples to assist her. Nowadays, hardly anyone offers samples so it did not go unnoticed that Cows does. That is one of the many reasons we will definitely be back!

There should be an automatic option to not tip at an ICE CREAM place, there's no reason customers should be obligated to tip.

This business no longer has allergy protocols in place, so it is not safe to eat there for people with serious allergies. I have celiac disease. Staff (owner, I believe) was disinterested and rude. They used to be so great with this. They used to offer to get clean utensils and a fresh tub from the back. No more, apparently.

Their matcha ice cream is terrible with large clumps of powder in the ice cream. Additionally there is this large clump of ice in the ice cream which I think is a horrible sign for any ice cream shop let alone the number one rated ice cream shop in white rock. I am giving this 2 stars as I had tried their other flavours before and it was decent. I use to love going to crazy cows for ice cream however, I recently discovered that there is no option to not tip which I don’t think is right. I understand tipping however when there is no option to not add a tip it seems wrong.
Regarding the service there was only one worker that was scooping ice cream and it took forever with a long line forming to get our ice creams. Keep this in mind when visiting as there are a lot of different ice cream spots around.
(Edit) response: I feel as if you have completely disregarded my review by saying there is just one clump of powder. It was completely speckled with clumps of powder, and I don’t believe using the excuse of ceremonial grade matcha is alright as i have tried many shops that advertise (many located in Richmond) and use matcha directly imported from Japan which are ceremonial grade and even visited Japan to try matcha ice cream. They do not have clumps like this. It did significantly affect the taste as there were clumps of powder and bitter specks which is not what I signed up for or expecting when having ice cream. I also feel as if you have completely disregarded my comment on the ice found in the ice cream. And lastly on your comments on tipping I had to customize tip for me to add no tip so I’m unsure as to where you put the no tip option. Your responses to negative reviews seem to be highly accusatory and lack accountability as I was reading through other reviews too. I did not over react I just gave a critical review but your response seemed condescending.

Alright alright alright, if you love ice cream, this is your spot. I had the akbar mashti flavour, and it was incredible. They have so many amazing and unique flavors, and you can tell they use good stuff, because you can taste all the crunchy pistachios, almonds. Everything just tastes so good! My kids had chocolate and the mint chocolate chip and my wife had the coconut. Last summer I had their pomegranate sorbet, and it was incredible.
The people working there are awesome, really friendly and they know their stuff. I even had an americano. I saw many people sampling, but we didnt do that, we felt it held up the line. They dont have a limit on samples, and i think that speaks to their generosity. The little seating area is cozy, they have a clean bathroom for customers which is a welcome sight on that beach strip. If you take their ice cream to go, it feels like walking down the beaches of lahaina with your favourite ice cream.

The ice cream was fine, but not worth $10 for two very small scoops. The store has steps to get in and was inaccessible. Good ice cream but not worth $25 for two people to get a simple ice cream.
