My friend and I have been stopping at Finlay's since 2017 when it was The Watts cafe. The ladies are always very nice and deliver our food as soon as it is prepared . We love the penninis. They are full of meat and very filling. We have to accept the fact that prices have gone up to cover the cost of the ingredients. They can't give the food away at cost. The cafe would be out of business in no time. I don't need fancy little bits of greens and red to dress up the plate. I have never heard any other customers complain like some of the ones written here. This is our favourite place because it gives us a reason to walk the full promenade west to east. Their muffins are delicious too so sometimes I buy one to go. We can relax and enjoy the scenery. My only suggestion is that the TV is very annoying so leave it off so that patrons can have a pleasant conversation without yelling at each other over that.

Small, quiet area. Outdoor seating with heaters overhead so made it comfortable (mid-March and raining) only had coffee but saw others having sandwiches being served to customers

Came in for a latte for my morning fix while staying at the ocean promenade hotel. I got my fix but not the fancy quality latte I'm used to making at home myself. The latte was good, about on par as Starbucks. Otherwise, enough for a fix.

I want to start off by saying that this is one of the best Café I have been too in White Rock! Best customer service. Rupi was awesome and sweet when helping me. Very good customer service! Such a welcoming and safe environment. Very clean and tidy place as well! The food was very good! You have to stop by and try the cookies. I was in the area for Lunch with a couple friends and the lunch was warm and very well prepared! Definitely bang for the buck! I don't understand why people are giving bad reviews when this place is awesome! For sure check this place out!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options as well!

People are great, accommodating to special requests, and the food is just good, fresh fare. The ambiance is wonderful, with a little outdoor heated area to eat, peacefully looking out at the water. SO awesome!
Cappuccino is actually latte here. They do not make an actual cappuccino.... But they claim they do... Disappointed!

Hello Everyone reading this reviews including the owners of Cafe.i worked at this Cafe for over a year. Me and 2 other employees recently quit the job because I didn't get paid for 1 months ( ownes excuses were, banking problems, accountant not available and such)2 of my other colleagues too didn't get correctly paid for over 6 months and didnt receive paystubs too.Last week owner of this Cafe, randomly Came to my new work place and started talking abusive things which hurt my reputation at current workplace. Luckily my current employer is professional and handled the situation maturely.Even they were shocked to see unstable behaviour of her.
Food is good , however my husband ordered a breakfast muffin and got one small container of sealed butterwhich was only half full. When he asked for another one he was charged 50 cents. Straw that broke the camel's back as we are staying in the attached hotel and will not be back toFindlay cafe! Customer service is definitely not a priority here!!!
