Had an incredible experience. The halibut was perfectly prepared light, crispy batter with tender, fresh fish inside. Jasmeen was so attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Great food and wonderful service. we’ll definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing experience at Fishboat near White Rock! The fish and chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, full of flavor. The chicken burger was juicy and delicious, with fresh toppings that made it even better. A special thank you to Jasmeen Kaur for her warm and friendly service she made our visit extra special. Highly recommend this place for a tasty meal and great service!

Service was polite, quick and efficient. The food was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. Use to eat another place near by, yet not after today. The fish were cooked just right and not oily (like the other place). I recommend this place for fish and chips, and friendly staff.

Very happy with our visit at the fish boat, we have lived in Whiterock for 2 days and been here twice - so that should say enough! Delicious fish and chips and today we try their fish and chicken burger ! Yum!

Best fish & chips & coleslaw! Generous portions! Light crispy coating! Loved the tartar sauce, yummy dill flavor! We were staying at the ocean promenade hotel, so we took our meal back with us to dine on our outside deck. We will definitely return to the Fishboat for fish and chips when we visit White Rock again!

I visited the restaurant today and was warmly welcomed by Jiwan. She was very professional and had a constant smile on her face, which made the experience even better. You’re lucky to have someone like her on your team every restaurant needs a person like that.
Their blue cotton candy ice cream tasted like coffee. Not sure if there was a flavour mixup while making it, but it definitely was not cotton candy flavoured. We couldn't go back and ask about changing it, as our parking was about to expire. I should have pre-sampled it but it's usually a very reliable flavour. Otherwise, the ice cream was just ok as far as icecream goes.

I took a school group of 26 hungry teenagers and five exhausted teachers to the Fishboat in White Rock and they served us the freshest, crispiest, and most delicious fish and chips within thirty minutes of us arriving at the restaurant. The family portions, which are intended for up to 5 people, were generous and more affordable than buying individual portions. The owners even threw in a few extra pieces, just in case, and eveyrthing was swiped. Given the size of our group, we ordered takeout and ate the food at the nearby picnic tables in White Rock, which was perfect as the food was served and eaten fresh, crispy, and hot. All the students and the staff thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips, and I am sure I will be taking future school groups there. Thank you!

this place was ok. i got the 2 piece cod with fries. cod had a nice, crispy batter and was a decent size. fries were meh…not very good cuz it wasn’t crispy just oily. tartar sauce was homemade and tasty. overall i think everything was a bit too oily.
