Had a lovely coffee here this afternoon. Very friendly people and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. It seems to be a popular spot. I enjoyed myself and would definitely recommend a visit. I’ll be back

When I ask to use your bathroom and you say customer only it makes me never want to support your business. Ive come in and had full conversations with you guys before like what the hell is the matter with your customer service skills? You have too much competition in your area to be rude and losing customers
Excellent excellent coffee. Good drip brew coffee. Sure that isn't how they make the big bucks, but excellent coffee. Just working on a building nearby. Pleasantly surprised by quality of coffee.

The espresso is delicious with deep rich flavors, I got an iced latte and it was very good. Plenty of coffee and espresso drink options as well as milk alternatives. I also got their breakfast sandwich. It was, in my opinion, one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time, phenomenal. I don't know what I was expecting, but I'm so used to chain coffee shops and their egg patties that this was a pleasant surprise. Real toasted bread, real cheese, fresh cooked egg, lettuce, tomato, avo/guacamole, delicious sauce (the sandwich was not at all dry, the perfect amount), and the sandwich comes with bacon, but I don't eat meat and they had no problem not adding the bacon for me. Again, the sandwich was absolutely delicious, I had taken it to go and didnt get a chance to tell them how much I enjoyed it, but I savored every last bite! Thank you Java Express, the prices were also great, I will be back again, and I absolutely recommend to everyone!

Ordered all day breakfast which tasted like 'pre-made' and put together on the dish. Toasts tasted like aged bread. Coffee was ok. A&W all Canadian breakfast is way better than this.

I went in earlier this week in the afternoon to get a latte. This was around 2:30pm, and upon arrival, I asked for my latte and the male employee told me that they were only doing drip coffee. Okay lol so I left. I went back this morning to get a latte and a muffin and honestly the coffee was terrible. another good quality and the muffin was also not good either.

One of the best coffee spots in town. The coffee is delicious and the sandwich was larger than I thought it was going to be which is always a good thing. The staff truly make the experience unforgettable. Friendly, welcoming, and always going the extra mile they make you feel right at home. Highly recommend for both and the amazing service.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Needs to Be Addressed
I recently visited Java Coffee for the first time after starting work in the neighborhood. I was looking forward to grabbing a coffee and brunch, but unfortunately, my experience was incredibly upsetting.
The staff member who assisted me (an Asian woman who said she was the manager) was shockingly rude and unprofessional. I noticed my sandwich was missing tomatoes and politely asked for it to be remade. Not only did she refuse initially, but she also began swearing and mumbling under her breath when I asked again. She claimed she used “bigger bread” as compensation (which I never requested), and then told me the tomatoes were rotten, which was deeply concerning. She then offered to still put them in, which made no sense and felt careless and unhygienic.
When I asked for her name to follow up on the issue, she refused to give it and told me it was a “secret.” She even claimed to be the manager and said I could “go write a review” – showing zero accountability for her behavior. As I was leaving, she swore at me again, which crossed every line of professionalism.
To make matters worse, the two staff members continued to speak in their own language in front of me, which made me feel uncomfortable and targeted. This entire encounter felt not only disrespectful but borderline discriminatory.
This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and it left me feeling upset and unwelcome. If this is how management treats customers, I truly worry for others who may walk in expecting basic courtesy.
I sincerely hope the owners or higher management take this seriously. I’m considering escalating this further if necessary.

First time driving to white-rock and came across this coffee shop. Didn’t think too much of it at first but found out they make every sandwich from scratch and it’s worth the wait. Coffee is great and affordable in this economy. The barista was kind enough to fill the dog bowl for my dog and delivered the food to us. Love the wall paper as well! Will be visiting when I come to White-rock again 🙂↕️
