We were spending the beautiful afternoon at East Beach, and since the kids were so well-behaved, we wanted to get them ice cream.Our friends grew up not too far from here and are very familiar with the area and recommended we go to Sandcastle Sea Shoppe.There was a line, and I can see why. The ice cream here is well-made - smooth, flavorful, and wild in flavors. All the kids got the Twin Cone with 2 Scoops. They all gave 2 thumbs up!My wife picked the Passion Fruit Sorbet, and it was super smooth. The flavors were sharp and perfectly balanced. Sandcastle Sea Shoppe will be my go-to ice cream place whenever we come back to East Beach.

Delicious, quality, and very refreshing. Amazing costumer service, and SO MANY OPTIONS!!!!!! Also, for one scoop, there was a LOT of ice-cream, so definitely worth the cost! Very homey and welcoming, definitely recommend.

Terrible customer service. Women behind counter rude and obnoxious. I would never get ice-cream here ever again. I would have left but it was my daughter's birthday and she had her heart set on an ice-cream. I had to bite my tongue and deal with the store drama. Terrible.

One line review: The ice cream was decent, but what they're selling is lots of choices. I'd probably give this place 3.5 stars if it were an option because the ice cream was fine but not special. But I'm going with 4 because it seemed like a decent value, and that matters to me. I ordered the twin cone (with two scoops served side-by-side rather than double-decker style). Fun to do at least once. I think I had pistachio and coffee almond fudge, but the fact that I can't remember is not a great sign. The service was friendly and masked, both of which I appreciate. Bottom line: I'd come here again for ice cream, but I expect that we'll try more of the many ice cream options in White Rock.
