Been to this place a few times I was pleased with the staff they were pleasant definitely better than the two north of 16th Avenue on the surrey side.this place along with 3 dogs and the ocean beach pub are fantastic. White rock pubs are the best
Nice place good service but the steel stools have to go too hard on the back. Happy hr . is not all day on Sunday. Lower the long tables and get some seats with a back to them ,then I might come back .
I love going in to beer shack for the many lovely live music nights!!. But they should really consider who should be allowed in there. This older lady with dyed red hair named phoebe (i think?) is always pushing us to buy her meat pies that she carries around in her shopping cart. Me and my friends are there to have fun, not be harassed/solicited. And she rambles on and on about the staff at numerous bars like someone is listening to her. I wish river view was still a place.
