Quaint beautifully done up cafe by the beach. The food is a perfect melange of flavours- Indian and European. And the muffins and cakes are baked by the cafe owner herself fresh! With a varied menu like Samosa chaat, Butter chicken on toast and Pizza( Naanza) - it is a delight for the tastebuds with a lovely ambience.

Their egg ‘n’ ham croissant sandwich was SO GOOD. I was shook. I don’t know what secret sauce they used, but it just hit the spot. It’s not a very busy café, but it’s SUPER aesthetic, peaceful with the calming music playing, and has a nice view of the train track + ocean.

A bright open nicely decorated welcoming cafe. We had a croissant sandwich and avocado toast that comes with scrambled eggs. Our cappuccino and vanilla latte were perfect. You feel like you’re on an enclosed covered deck when you have one of the tables by the window. We didn’t have room for any baked items, there were many and they looked amazing. Staff was very polite and friendly.

Stopped by this adorable café after a morning walk on the beach, and it was such a lovely find! The apricot tart was perfectly balanced—just sweet enough without overpowering the natural flavor of the fruit. Paired with a warm cup of chai, it made for a delightful treat.

The interior is absolutely stunning—the owner preserved the original flooring and ceiling, adding tasteful décor that gives the space so much character. It felt cozy and thoughtfully designed.

The only small downside was that the staff seemed a bit reserved when I tried to express how much I loved the place. But that aside, it’s a wonderful spot, and I’d definitely return for more pastries and the charming atmosphere!

This place is so so cute, but a couple things stuck out for me. #1 almond cardamon latte tastes only like cardamon steeped in milk.. not good. #2 Mango coconut muffin flavour is good but it's too dense and dry, I was choking it down. #3 the seats by the gorgeous wall of windows, you're not allowed to sit there with a laptop, and the bar is reserved for staff... So 1/3 of the window seating is unusable for customers. Ambiance is wonderful but it's a meh from me on the whole.

Beautiful place. We were told to grab our menus from the counter and order at the counter. But then other people were brought the menus and received table sevive when placing their orders. We ordered the pakorahs and they were raw in the middle. We also ordered the Kathi roll which has a gluten free sign beside it on the menu and when we recieved it the server said we didn't specify gluten free it's an option that has to be requested. We also asked for mild and was assured she can do that and it was so spicy we could not eat it and just asked for to go containers. My friend had the crossaint and love it. And my sister had the avocado toast and said it was good as well... so just be specific, expect spice in the indian food and enjoy the beautiful environment and view

Verandah has very nice vibes with beautiful views of Boundary Bay. I like smoothies served here with my personal favourite being espresso-peanut butter. The music is not too loud so you can carry on a conversation with your friend or partner. And the bonus is that the owner is caring and considerate, while the staff make you feel welcomed. One of my favourite little cafes in the region. Enjoy!

Food was alright, coffee was delicious. Nice interior, come for the coffee not the food

So they have a sign out that says ‘Chai’ and then the next line is ‘Coffee’. No ‘&’ symbol or anything. Anyway, from the way it was written it seems like ‘Chai Coffee’ - usually called a ‘Dirty Chai’. So came in here, and no dice; the server had no idea what a Dirty Chai was. So we ordered just a regular masala chai, and it was just straight up the worst chai I’ve ever had. Didn’t try any other food, so can’t speak to it, but I really don’t know why the chai was the most watered-down, worst tasting tea I can ever remember having. The place looked nice though, so it has that going for it.

The ambiance here is absolutely beautiful—warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We tried the vegetarian masala sandwich, avocado toast, pumpkin spice & matcha coffee. The food was decent ; prices felt a bit high for what we got, but if you’re looking for a charming spot to relax over coffee and good aesthetics, it’s definitely worth checking out!
