Good place to take a date. Lots of groups celebrating there too. Food, service, and atmosphere are all good. Small parking lot and doesn't look that big but it's a good size inside. Maybe the best place in the area to take visitors as it has charm.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, good service, but food was so mediocre. I had mussels that were very slimey. This was my second time trying and probably my last.
Parking: Limited free parking. Paid parking for $5-$7.

Our Christmas party at Washington Avenue Grill in White Rock, BC, was an unforgettable experience, and not just because of the amazing food and top-notch service.
There was a power outage right before our event, and we were worried it might force us to reschedule or find another venue. But the incredible team at WAG went above and beyond, setting up generators to ensure everything went smoothly. Not a single beat was skipped!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our evening special.
Thank you to the entire WAG team for going the extra mile and making us feel so valued. You turned what could have been a stressful situation into a flawless celebration. Highly recommend this place to anyone planning a special event! Thank you from your new friend's at Langley Subaru.

I took 3 of my friends to lunch after I told them how EXCELLENT your fish and chips are!! The fish was DRY and the batter TOO⊠TOO over fried..very difficult to eat! I wasâEMBARRASSEDâ for myself and your chef!! Did you have a NOVICE in the kitchen last Saturday at noon, Dec. 7th. ALSO, our Server was awfully distractedâŠand made a few mistakes..she seemed to be an employee or manager who has been there for AWHILE, yet her service was horrible!!!! I do not think I will be back to WAG after being a customer for years, unless you can explain what happened that morning with your staff!

Unfortunately the parking lot was full, but there was a paid parking area, that was not accessible, it would not let us through, it took our money but did not lift the gate. We needed up parking on the street. The outside of the building is not worth mentioning as itâs not extraordinary, do not let that fool you!! When you walk up the step two large white columns that slightly resemble the white house forefront. You reach out to a large black ornamented door, and the foyer is like walking back in time to a Victorian era, the chandelier is warm and invites the room with the chaise and old style mirror and a tall statue and a burning ( modern gas fireplace) the oak dark brown wood staircase wraps around to the second floor , the hostess greets and attends to you in a professional manner, the room is bright and cozy and a warm lovely white wooden windows lined up across the floor and boughs of holly and silver decorations and Christmas music fills the air. Chandeliers throughout hanging from the ceiling. All different shapes and sizes and glitter and silver and wrought Iron, mirrors placed in all the right corners of the room. You feel as if you have walked back in time to an era of Victorian style fashion.
We went in the evening, but I hear there is a fabulous ocean front view of White Rock Beach.
The menu was designed for a Christmas party and the appetizers and Entree and dessert selections were delicious.
I had the Tomato Basil Crab Bisque
Then I had the prosciutto and Pesto stuffed cheese Chicken with mashed potatoes, and vegetables, for dessert Peanut Butter slice creamy and deliciously sweet.
The restroom was clean and compact and well maintained. I love the white marble countertop and the table to put your clutch on while washing your hands. My only suggestion would be to cut a hole in the countertop to dispose the paper towels , so that the customer does not need to look for the wastebasket.
Danny was our server and she was professional and friendly and cheerful . I highly, recommend boutique style restaurant.
Will definitely go back.

The food was ok, not great and the staff was less than welcoming. There is no place to park and it's rather noisy

Aside from the encounter with the waiter who seemed to question our understanding and asked if I had actually paid the bill, the rest of the evening was enjoyable. I understand that not everyone dresses up for a walk, but this experience has led me to decide that I wonât be returning to this establishment. While the food was good, I believe I will seek other options in the future due to the way we were treated.

The lobster Ravioli is probably the most delicious thing Iâve ever put in my mouth.
Friendly staff, great cocktails, and the food is top notch.
There is a reason this restaurant has been around for almost 30 years. Do yourself and your tastebuds a favour and head on into the WAG!
