Good customer service and food is great. This is our favorite place to go when looking for a place to eat around White Rock. Great food choices if you go during happy hour. Highly recommended.
Greeted promptly and seated at a very nice table with a view. Server was polite and friendly and food was delicious as always. A very pleasant evening to celebrate our 57th anniversary.
The rib dinner we ordered was almost unpalatable because of the way it was assembled: coleslaw on the bottom, fries on top, ribs on top of the fries, then the whole stack drizzled with mediocre bbq sauce. The Mediterranean gnocchi dish was prepared with what seemed to be unseasoned bottled sour tomato sauce, and the crispy fried gnocchi would have been better if served tender. The service was excellent, but the food and cost of it were very disappointing.
Service was great. Ahi tuna is my favourite and never disappoints. The only lack luster part was the mussels. They had a lot of sauce with nothing but a small number of French fries to sop up. Also the mussels were really small so no taste ( I'm not sure if they are seasonal and that's why so small)
I was very disappointed in the whole evening. I had reserved ahead and everyone in our party was looking forward to the evening as all of us had not been to the restaurant in awhile!! I also informed while placing reservation that it was a milestone b day celebration. Requested a nice table. I understand that they did not guarantee a seat by the window but asked if they would take time to consider a table in the main dining area. We arrived and the only table that was available was one in the very back of the bar area by the main entrance or another table in the same area none the less in the bar area ? When we were all seated no one particular server came to our table and introduced themselves and said they would be serving us. We had 3 different servers sporadically arriving at our table to bring water, take our cocktail order, then finally taking our dinner order which took 30-40 mins after our arrival!! 3 tables that had arrived after us received there dinner orders before us!! When our 6 dinners arrived they were only mildly warm/cool!! Not to mention that one of the orders had been taken down incorrectly! Finally one server seemed to take notice that things were not going well at our table and came to our rescue making things right, however, I can't give her kudos because she didn't introduce her self either!! She did in the end bring us a free piece of cake and we were able to end the night with a happy birthday chorus and a sweet bite !! So I will say that for the amount of our bill for the six of us for dinner and drinks I would have expected a higher degree of service and food quality!! I would definitely not be recommending The WAG anytime soon to anyone or a return visit!
I will say, the service was great. I was pretty disappointed with the food. The mussels were very small and stringy and the mixed seafood grill didn't have a great flavour combo. I had higher expectations for the seafood, beings that it is right by the ocean. The building is neat and location is great, although extremely loud inside. Overall, I would rate the food as just fair.
Always good! We enjoyed the crab bisque, caesar salad for starters and this tuna and lamb shank got mains. Wine was 30% off so that was great and the peanut butter pie was exceptionally good, as always. And our server Raquel was personable and her service was exceptional. The WAG is one of our favorite go to's!
Exellent meal. Everything was so nice. I loved the atmoshphere, and the food was amazing. Looking at the sunset , out of the huge windows, just added that extra something to the overall experience.
We have been to the WAG several times over the years. Each time prior to the most recent dining experience, food and service has been very good. This time around the food was a bit of a letdown. Lamb Shank dish lacked flavor and veggies were soft. The pesto chicken pasta dish, chicken was dry and meal lacked flavor. The starter Cesar salad was excellent and the best part of this birthday meal. Lastly there was no follow up from staff on how was your meal.
We went early & were grateful for a window view table. Our server was excellent & through him & kitchen staff, my annoying food sensitivities were responsibly taken into consideration. Greatly appreciated. Birthday coupons are the best! Perfectly topped off the day. Heartfelt thanks

WAG is an absolute gem! The food is great, the drinks are fantastic, and the ambiance is so fun and beachy with beautiful views. The location and parking are easy, making it a convenient spot to visit.
The staff are super sweet and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. The place could be a bit cleaner, but it’s a minor issue compared to everything else. It’s also kid-friendly, which is a big plus for families.
I’ve been here many times and will continue to frequent this amazing spot. Highly recommend!

My husband ordered the chicken entree and he was given the kids meal. When we questioned the server she just said "oh. I thought that is what you wanted". She did not offer to replace it with the chicken entree noted on the menu. The dish served to my husband was plain chicken, with broccoli and a lump of white rice, I don't even think a child would want to eat that tasteless meal. What adult would order off the kids menu? We were also charged for the meal that wasn't correct. Ridiculous.

Really good portions for the price. Went for dinner day before I went to the Wag at Olive Garden. At Olive Garden my portion size was half the portion of entire at the Weg, more expensive and less tasty. Was actually mind blowing. Service was great.
