The food is nice and used to be one of our favourites in the area, unfortunately the service is terrible. The staff to do not care if you get any service or receive any business from their customers.Online orders are down and the restaurant refuses to take orders from customers directly.Why would a business refuse customers? Why would a business not attempt or offer a solution for customers wanting to do business with them?

Came here for brunch after a recommendation and was impressed by the restaurant tucked away on a smaller street in white rock. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided amazing service despite the restaurant full at peak lunch hour. The ambience and atmosphere is reminiscent of a small seaside cafe complete with a small bar top. The food was also impressive and the eggs were poached perfectly. The hash browns were also crispy and well cooked to add texture and flavour. I highly recommend trying the eggs Benny if you are in need of a brunch spot that is away from the busy beach restaurants.

Strip-mall eatery with okay food. Lattes were very small and too intense for my taste. Breakfast smoothie bowl was tasty but too sweet. Cinnamon bun was not fresh.

Favourite brunch spot! My friends and family usually come here on Sundays so we can go to the farmer's market after which really sets the mood for the rest of our day. Amazing food with amazing staff! I try to get a different dish everytime I'm here and they've all been so so good! My favourite might be either the vegetarian hash or the pulled pork hash! It can be a little loud and tight during rush hour but it's an amazing atmosphere to be in!Vegetarian options: I tried the vegetarian hash which honestly became my favourite dish here. It's hearty and very filling, more so than the dishes with meat.

I've eaten at Wooden Spoon a few times in the past six months, the food and coffee are good, service is friendly. My only gripe would be on occasion the music has been really loud, to the point that is was a challenge to have a conversation with someone over coffee. The managers response was the music was at a set volume and could not be adjusted, which was amusing, we just left it at that
