The dishes taste insanely good! Best sushi I've ever had in White Rock! Services are friendly and satisfying. Would come back next time!

Good sushi but need to work on their service. Service was incredibly slow for making a reservation, and they only have 5 tables. To start they asked if we wanted tea and some of us (mainly the birthday girl) said yes, yet the tea never came. All dishes came out very slowly one at a time, and our table was sharing everything so it wasn't the best set up for our group. We had to ask the young boys helping to get our waters refilled multiple times, and twice they only filled half of our groups glasses until we told them to just leave the bottle and we'll do it. They said they were busy and apologized for the waits but we saw them sitting on their phones quite a bit while customers were very obviously frustrated with them. When customers would say something they just kept telling everyone 10mins wait when it was 20-30+. One guy with a to-go order came back 3 times and they said 10mins each time. We are unsure if there was not enough staff cooking in the back or if they were unprepared for the volume of customers. In the end they forgot our tea, Chow mein and we had waited over 45 mins for 2 rolls that we ordered partway through - and we never got. We paid for everything then left without the missed items as we wanted to go home and they said it would be at least another 10 minutes until it was ready because they were "making it right now" (which we knew it was 20+ mins wait after seeing others'). Multiple other customers in there were experiencing the same thing as us, so it might have been an off night for them. Overall just wasn't the best for a dine in birthday, might be better for takeout.

Wow!! This sushi is so incredibly fresh! The tuna roll literally melted in my mouth. Each grain of rice is fluffy and soft. Outstanding!

Excellent sushi, really fresh rice and excellent fish. Especially liked the shrimp roll, that was tasty! Great place to stop by while on a walk at the beach. Would recommend!

We are in town from kamloops and searched for sushi. We came across this little gem, the food is fantastic and staff is super friendly. I recommend the maple ridge roll, and the monster prawn roll!

Amazing sushi place in Marine drive! I happened to pass by for lunch and They were super welcoming and kind. Must try their dynamite rolls.

I was just on my break and found this newly opened restaurant on East beach Marine Drive. A very welcoming environment and the food was excellent.

Yuan Japanese Restaurant is a very new addition to White Rock eateries and I had a wonderful experience there. The service is friendly and the restaurant itself is cozy and has a lot of cute Japanese decor. The special rolls are delicious with fresh ingredients. I would come back next time!

This is the most authentic sushi and ramen I've had since I came to Surrey. The owner is very friendly and it feels like a haven in the evening.
