We read the great reviews and popped into the Yuca Tree Cafe for a quick lunch and loved it. It is a nice, small, cozy family owned restaurant. The banana French toast was moist and delicious with a nice homemade syrup mix on top. The bacon was also very tasty and lean. The swiss cheese and mushroom burger was delicious and juicy. We paired the hamburger with homemade chicken cilantro soup and love that also!

Used to go to the Yucca Tree Cafe when living in the area 3 years ago. Loved the benny, scone and pan fries here. Not sure what happened to it since.. but it's gone seriously downhill. The portion was much smaller (shrinkflation?) the price had increased by $5 and it was honestly tasteless (no more lovely flavours). Noticed the person cooking was surfing their phone. It was so obvious that the food there is no longer made with love, it was painful cause it's used to be the BEST! :(

I’ve been here a couple times now, the service is friendly and the food is delicious, home-style cooking. I will definitely be back to try out the rest of their menu.

Amazing little gem! The service was great and the food was delicious. I recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice and little breakfast with sour dough toast. My husband also loved his veggie chilli omelette. We will be coming back whenever we come to town!

This lovely, homey restaurant makes me feel happy when I enter. The owners are personal, open and respectful. The cook will come out, time permitting to visit. Visit if you're in White Rock
Best breakfast cafe in Surrey. The food is amazing and the owners and regulars here are so sweet. It's fairly intimate, which makes the experience of going here better, actually. It's just so cute. I always get the fried banana french toast, it's to die for. However, all the food here is top-notch.
We brought family from out of town figuring that we’d get an excellent breakfast. Boy were we wrong. The fried potatoes were black and unbeatable, the croissant breakfast sandwiches were awful and substandard ingredients. Coffee was swamp water. This place used to be amazing. Food used to be presented well and was flavourful. New owners have increased prices and reduced food quality. They have ruined what used to be a fantastic restaurant!! WE’LL NEVER GO BACK!!! I’ll be surprised if they are in business in a year or less.

This is the best French toast I ever had. I come here everyday I work in the area.

That was an unfortunate dining experience.Wanted to pick a spot smaller and support local. We waited over an hour for food, when we finally did get the food it was all cold except one person's dish.By the 1 hour mark we finally received a "sorry its taking so long"I could go on and break down every dish. It was no good. Not interested in returning.

We’ve recently moved to this side of town and stopped in this morning for warm breakfast on a snowy day. I had the small order of banana French toast which was amazing and very filling. The bacon was perfectly cooked; I usually don’t order restaurant bacon because it’s too dry, crunchy and thin but this was crisp but not overdone and a thicker cut. I added a scrambled egg and it was nice and fluffy. My 5 year old had the small sized classic waffle and it was a great serving for her (she has a big appetite) It’s a cozy little nook with mostly regulars (I can see why) and pleasant jazz playing in the background. Friendly service, fresh food and cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices; a small business I’m happy to support.

Three of us for brunch. It was busy. I had the clubhouse sandwich - a classic - which was very good, with proper slices of actual turkey. The burger menu looked interesting and I think I'll come back to try one. Service was very good too, if a little slow. But as I wrote earlier, they were very busy. A very pleasant meal.
Free run chicken eggs! Enough said. ????
