Shitty service right off the bat and given attitude when we sat ourselves after being walked passed 3 times with no instructions or no word on when we would be seated
Well service was out to lunch. Sign at the front says wait to be seated but we were walked by 3 times with no acknowledgement so we sat down and then ignored until I asked how we get served then was told they were super busy and that we sat ourselves. 6 tables were occupied 20 empty. From Vancouver to hick town and crap service. Laughing Loon winning!!!! Good job
My Fiance and I went out for dinner last night at The Laughing Loon and had such a great experience! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent, even with just two servers working—they were super attentive and made the evening feel really special.
We started with the Wagyu beef gyozas, which came with an incredible sauce. I especially loved the arugula on the plate—its peppery bite paired perfectly with the rich beef.
For mains, Sheldon went with his go-to: the beef brisket burger (it’s that good—he gets it every time). I had the Cajun chicken fettuccine, which was flavorful and a seriously generous portion—I took half home!
Thank you team Laughing Loon!
$40 for this. Seriously overpriced and not even good taste. Highly disappointing.
Took my wife here for her bday. Sat us right beside a table of 7 guys drinking. She took forever to take our order. Brought the starter out with the food. Didn't refill the birthday girls drink. Left the empty cup on the table the whole time. This was our first time here. Was our last. Will stick with dennys
I ordered steak sandwich, burger and the chocolate lava cake and all of them was really delicious
Moderately decent pub food on a not busy night (Tuesday about 5:45)
The urinal in the Men's Room has deliberately posted reading material that is printed from some political oriented sites....I;m not quite sure what the message was but it is not appropriate to post stuff.....
One was a search result showing $$$ allocations for foreign aid and had highlighted entries that would be confirmation bias for any Redneck. Another one was about immigration costs. .
Totally inappropriate for a public place.....
I tore one down, crumpled it up and pissed on it.
Sorry no pictures.
Keep politics off the wall.
Ibises to enjoy this pace a lot. The brunch was great and a nice place to visit with friends, and people who visit from out or town. Lately they never seem open. Now it’s only 430-9 PM it’s not really a pub or a restaurant anymore. Maybe due to staffing but how honestly it’s sad. Was such a nice place to visit and now with such limited hours, I doubt we’ll go there often.
We had our work Xmas party here and had an awesome time. Food was great, service was excellent, they kept the booze flowing and we had control of the music in our section of the place and a TV we were able to do a little presentation for all the employees on. Awesome time
My takeout order was incorrect however after speaking to the manager on duty, I’m satisfied with how they dealt with the situation.
On a positive note, this bar/lounge is probably the nicest joint in town with a grand entrance, impressive landscaping, a large parking lot with ample spots and of course stunning vistas of the lake. Super easy access from the freeway too.
I’ll come back another time to give them another shot. 🙃

Quick dinner for my birthday, took a while to served but once served, drinks and food were not far behind.
Hey, there's not many options in WL. It's fine. Distracted staff kinda annoying.

The Laughing Loon is a true gem of Williams Lake. The smoked brisket is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the cheesecake is a decadent dream. The restaurant is always clean and inviting, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Laughing Loon is a must-visit.

Terrible meal…chicken cooked almost to being burnt, need to change their cooking oil…meat extremely dry…sent out with a side of watery, tasteless hollandaise sauce…asked for some honey mustard sauce and received something tasteless that looked like pale yellow mayo…the only positive was they took 25% of the bill…Never again!
