The Laughing Loon

Was recommended this place by a co worker staying here in town so decided to give it a try. Food was ok to underwhelming at best. Chicken wings were a good size but poorly executed. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly but tasted like a cheap cut of meat that was hidden under a bunch of over seasoning and definitely overpriced In my opinion. Steak and a handful of fries for $34….. service was good but it looked like the bathrooms hadn’t been actually cleaned in quite some time as there was brown mildew all around the sinks.

I ordered a burger and fries. The brisket burger was amazing, and the fries were good. But they don’t give much fries. My wife got a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken Caesar salad was honestly terrible. The chicken is supposed to be grilled but honestly seemed like it was boiled and unseasoned. Wife didn’t end up finishing her food. When we were done the waitress asked how everything was and we told her the chicken Caesar salad wasn’t good at all. She didn’t bill us for the chicken Caesar salad which was nice, wasn’t expecting that. So appreciate the service here. However the wife and I have come here a few times now and it hasn’t been great each time. So not sure we will try this place again.

Food was very underwhelming, ordered what I thought was going to be a delicious bowl of goodness, basically got ichiban noodles with some cut up steak and some veg for $32!!! Definitely not interested in trying this establishment out again.

A great local pub with a quiet and chill atmosphere. Well lit and open space. Food took a while to come out after ordering and I got the smoked brisket burger and fries. Burger was great but I wish I had more fries with my plate. A bit understaffed so service was slower than expected. Overall a great spot for a night out.

We love heading to the Loon for a Bangkok wrap for lunch or for their dinner specials! We always leave happy!

Excellent food, and very generous portions - even the kids meals.

Stopped in Williams Lake for an evening, and decided to try The Laughing Loon. Sure glad we did! The fish tacos were awesome, the kids menu was awesome - the kids burger was a serious burger, not dinky like some places. Chicken fingers were real chicken strips with a great flavor.

Prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Highly recommend if you're passing through and need a good meal!

Great waitress, but unfortunately our steaks were very disappointing for what was supposed to be a 9oz New York. Seemed more like a $10 steak sandwich. If you’re gonna serve ‘shoe sole’ steak, at least have sharper knives!!

Very disappointed. I looked on web site menu before deciding to eat here. The website listed salmon fettuccine Alfredo, when I arrived i was told its not on the menu. I ordered an Elk burger instead, very dry not enough condiments to offset how dry the meat was. As I was eating dinner I looked at the tv menu board which definitely displayed the salmon fettuccine Alfredo.

Again this is the reason I choose this place to eat.

When I questioned the server i was informed that they definitely did not have it nor did they have any today to speak of.

There is a lot to be said for advertising the correct information. Not sure if I'll be back or not. At this moment the answer is no I won't be back.

Only visit when we come to town but always a great spot!
Super friendly staff and quick service.
Food was excellent and large portions.

We had our two little kiddos come in with us to eat and the service was so friendly and the good was spectacular. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Shitty service right off the bat and given attitude when we sat ourselves after being walked passed 3 times with no instructions or no word on when we would be seated
