Fuzzy's Taco Shop Opens 40 New Locations in Arizona and Texas

The Tex-Mex casual chain Fuzzy's Taco Shop announced plans to open 40 new stores across Arizona and Texas over the next eight years. The process will be driven by two recently signed multi-unit franchise deals.

For one, an existing Fuzzy's franchisee, Marc Rogers of Rogers Restaurant Group, will bring 15 more locations to Arizona and the Phoenix area by 2032. Rogers is and experienced franchisee who has been with Fuzzy's for 13 years, operating 16 restaurants in Colorado.

The other deal is with Hnreck Nazarian of Nazarian Global Enterprises (NGE), a new Fuzzy's franchisee. Nazarian will open 25 new Fuzzy's restaurants in Houston, TX area over the next seven years. NGE is no rookie either, the company has been an IHOP franchisee since 2001 with 23 IHOP locations.

Fuzzy's President Paul Damico commented on the new brand’s agreements: "Fuzzy's has transformed from a single neighborhood taco shop with a chill vibe in Fort Worth, Texas into an emerging, nationally franchised concept with an exceptional bar program and a Baja-inspired menu that our guests have come to crave." He added that the brand is excited to work with existing and new franchisees to help lead the growth.
