So so good! Love the butcher köfte and all the yummy salads. Rice is soft and flavorful. And must try their baklava!! I feel so lucky to have authentic Turkish food on the island!

Very good and calming ambiance. Good food, and the imam bayildi was delicious. The tea was flavorful and I appreciate it being free. The man who helped us was friendly. Would come again.

Phenomenal place to go out! Service was friendly, nice atmosphere, and the food is fantastic. I'm writing this review to highlight the great service and experience. I ordered the Ala Burger - a few minutes later, a server came by and let me know they were out of buns and asked if they could substitute pita bread which was fine by me. It tasted great and at the end of the meal, they comp'd some baklava due to being out of buns. It was a pleasant surprise and I'm impressed by the service. The baklava was great as well! Would highly recommend!

Support your hometown businesses and keep our downtowns vibrant! This was my second visit; the first being soon after they opened. They've really upped their game! The decor is soothing yet interesting, and they have a nice outdoor space in the back. This time I was grabbing take out dinner, and it was delicious. I'd never had a lamb burger before, and it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. It was juicy and flavorful, on a sweet bun with delicious slaw and tangy yogurt. Really good!

Finally got the dinner opportunity to try this place out after three years since it opened. I was extremely pleased with the food. We started with the artichoke bottoms which were light, fresh, and a unique experience. I ordered the karniyarik - eggplant stuffed with beef, topped with tomatoes and cheese. It was delicious and satisfying. I am eager to try other menu items and I won't wait long until I return.

The food is no longer gourmet. Beets salad was cut in a 2x2 inches cube, with holladaise! where is the original Ala when it first opened.

I think the food is overpriced for what you get. I ordered the roasted lamb pieces. It came with a small salad and one pita bread and a little sour yougart. I order the chocolate dessert that was to cold to eat. It should have allowed to warm before serving. My bill was almost $50 not including my tip. The young lady working their was the most friendly staff onsite.
Much to expensive for what you're getting

Best service we’ve ever had at a restaurant in the Bay Area. We had the Istanbul trio and the chicken kebabs which were both unreal. The chicken was cooked perfectly and all the dips were perfectly done. I wish there were more locations!

This place was suggested by a friend and, wow! did they get it right!
The dining room is beautiful and comfortable and cozy and the service is just absolutely top notch. It felt like they actually cared about their customers, like they were invested in your experience and wanted to.make sure it was lovely.
And the food was fantastic! Of everything we ordered, the favorites were the beet salad (I can't remember what it was called) and the pide. The dressing on the salad was so good I wanted to lick the bowl (not exaggerating and I did tell our server ?) and the pide was perfectly baked and covered in the most wonderful cheeses. But everything was great.
This was one of the best, most enjoyable dining experiences I've had in a while. You should absolutely go here!
