Food was great. Waited 40min for a table, which was totally fine but we were rushed out by the server after only being there slightly over an hour, which is ridiculous. Our waitress also took a while to take our order, and refused to split our check by item, which sucked because one of our party was on work travel and that makes it harder to get things comped (ALSO it says they allow split checks on their website, so that's misleading). I feel like staying at a table for 1.5 hours for brunch isn't crazy. Probably won't come back to be honest.

Our group of 4 was very pleased with the food and beverage offerings at Cafe Jolie but unfortunately less enthused by the service. After we were seated, we waited for close to 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. They were very busy, so we were understanding of the circumstances and our server did apologize so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The food was VERY fast which was much appreciated. At the end of our meal, the check was dropped without asking whether we were ready which is totally fine, except that we needed the check split because one member of our party needed to pay separately because they were on a company trip. We asked our server who said she couldn’t split the check because we didn’t tell her in advance. The menu explicitly mentions that the check can be split a maximum of twice per party but has no mention of a requiring advanced notice. Though this policy is pretty antiquated, they are entitled to enact it. They shouldn’t, however, refuse to honor the posted policy. Our request must have peeved our server (even though we didn’t resist her rejection of our bill-spitting request) because she was very cold with us, ultimately asking us to leave because there was a wait. We’d barely been there for an hour. I honestly can’t remember a time in my whole life that I was asked to leave a restaurant for any reason. Perhaps they could have expedited our stay by not waiting 10 minutes to even acknowledge our presence instead of shooing us out. I hear Cape 7 across the street has a similar breakfast menu so I might just try that next time.

I found everything about this place mediocre. The food, the atmosphere and the service. It’s just kind of gross diner food. Nothing that was worth ordering again. Bitter coffee, overcooked omelets, croissants that are obviously out of bag. The servers aren’t rude, just not exactly happy either. Weirdly crowded on the weekends which I can attribute to a lack of other viable breakfast options on the island. We waited 30 mints for a table of four on a Sunday.

I can see why the current total rating is 3.8. The plate presentation is nice.About a 15 minute wait. Food was ready in less than 15 minutes. They use metal straws. For a standard brunch it is just fine. The Kitchen staff was working consistently and as a team. They don't do reservations. They are tight on the substitutions. The omelet section says "Please No Substitutions". The waitress was gossiping about other workers to another waitress with a full restaurant. Nothing special or exciting about the brunch food; it's basic. It's cold inside as well.

Fine (though slightly overpriced) brunch but pretty poor service. Been here 3 times and consistently surprised by how understaffed it is.

Cafe Jolie was a very welcomed discovery after a disappointing experience at Neptune's around the corner. Great place to have breakfast before exploring local attractions.Very nice corner restaurant with European flare, good parking and fun energy. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating with lovely atmosphere. Great menu with reasonable prices. The food was excellent and filling. We enjoyed a Croque Madame, Cinnamon French Toast as well as Crab Cake Benedict. All dishes hit the spot perfectly. For 4 people expect to pay around $100 with soft drinks and coffee. Food was prepared relatively quickly and served warm. There is a small menu for kids as well featuring usual favorites. The service was slow, not attentive or interested. While the host seemed very accommodating the waitress was the complete opposite. Much training is required to elevate the customer experience in the dining room. If customers sit down and wait for 20 minutes, it feels like they are being ignored. It is not a good feeling. Perhaps starting them of with some drinks is manageable even in the most busiest of places. Again, food was great and that is what ultimately brings us back. There is a big parking lot free of charge just behind the building with at least 2 spots for persons with disabilities.Kid-friendliness: Has Kids menu

If I could give 0 stars I would. The food was average at best. Service from the waitresses was great and they were sweet. The problem was the insufferable manager ALEXIS she was rude from the start, HORRIBLE to the staff and overall she made it a terrible experience. She said multiple times out loud that she couldn’t wait to leave and the poor staff seemed so afraid of her. I hope they figure this problem out with the terrible environment that ALEXIS makes for the restaurant
