Hi there, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my thoughts on my recent visit to this restaurant. It was my first time, and I was drawn in by the appealing pictures and positive reviews. The photos were indeed accurate – the restaurant is quite lovely. However, I did find the lighting a bit too bright, which gave it more of a cafeteria feel rather than an upscale ambiance. Perhaps adjusting the lighting and keeping the backdoor closed to prevent the cold wind...
I saw this restaurant in an email from Open Table. After reading some of the reviews, I decided to make a reservation. I ordered the seafood fettuccine with scallops, prawns and crab. The scallops were cooked to perfection 👌🏽 The prawns were over cooked. Overall, it was a good dish. We also tried the calamari which was good. I would return to try another dish.
Whoever does the cooking here knows how to cook. Once again imaginative seafood cooked just right. I had Day Boat scallops which were very tender - a truly mean feat of cooking a dish that can easily get rubbery. My friends, who are steak eaters, both had the T-bone. They've had it before and look forward to it each time. Although we didn't mention that two people at the table were having birthdays, they saw them unwrapping gifts and brought out two tasting dessert plates...
