Without a doubt my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay, and I’ve thoroughly explored Oakland & SF Chinatown! We got the #8 (Taiwan beef brisket noodles) at the highest spice level (it’s really not spicy at all) with their hand pulled noodles and oh. My. Goodness. AMAZING!!! The vinegar in the broth was PERFECT, I didn’t need to add my own seasonings whatsoever. We also got the fried pork and chili won tons which were also delicious! I’ll definitely make the drive down here as often as possible!! Super happy to support this new small, local business. Also shout out to the service, because it was some of the best I’ve gotten in a long time. So kind!

This place is so good! The noodles are so good, great texture and size. The beef was tender and flavorful and so was the pork. The soup was very good I recommend going spicy if you like the heat!Even with the restaurant being busy it was great and personable service. The tea was good and great energy. Highly recommend the crispy pork as well. The serving size was so good that I still had leftovers!太好了!

My wife was out of town and the kids were with the Grandparents and I had a craving for Chinese Soup Noodles, so after researching I decided to visit Chong Qing Noodle House. The restaurant is no frills, almost having diner vibes to it. Service is very friendly and responsive…Now to the food… I ordered the Crushed Cucumber with Garlic to start and the Pickled Veggies Shredded Pork Noodles with Medium spice. The Cucumbers are a 10! So good and would triple order it. The noodles are a solid 9! The noodles you can tell are freshly made and the broth is solid. The spice covers up a lot of the taste, which is a bit of a shame because on its own I think it would be very good.I’ll be coming back to try other offerings as the food is authentic and tasty!

Ownership changed, the noodle soup tastes different from before. It’s still good, but I prefer the old flavor.

Chongqing Noodle House is a very solid Sichuan Style Restaurant. Come to think of it, probably one of best I've been to; especially for being in Alameda on Park Street so close to plenty forms of afternoon/evening entertainment- Subpar Indoor Miniature Golf, D20 Games, High Scores Arcade, Bolwera Bowling Alley, Alameda Theater, and a plethora of Bars too.A huge plus for this restaurant is not making me drive out to Oakland or SF just for a bowl of delicious noodles. From the original and hand cut noodles, to the numbing peppers, to the meat, to the rich deep flavors of their broth. I always enjoy a nice steaming bowl of noodle soup from CNH, especially during these chilly nights. Also, if you don't do spicy, no worries. Just modify your bowl of noodle's spice level to what you like.Chongqing Noodle House has also recently expanded their menu with BBQ skewers (from 5PM to Midnight!!!), more non-soup entrees, and more appetizer dishes; or what my friends and I like to call "drinking food".I haven't tried their new non-soup entrees or their new appetizers yet, though my friends and I did try their BBQ skewers this evening and they were an absolute treat. If you're unfamiliar with Chinese Style BBQ Skewers, do understand they are on the more fragrant side of the flavor profile and they tend to have a kick to them since they typically have cumin and chili and Sichuan powders on them. You'll also find a handful of meats that your typical BBQ joint won't have (this isn't a BBQ joint anyway), though be adventurous or some would call it being cultured; and try everything on the menu at least once with the optimism that you're going to enjoy the flavors, textures, and experience altogether. Heck, even make it a contest with your friends in the form of a "dare" if you or one of your friends within the group are unfamiliar with the type of meat selections or even spice levels on the menu and make a Tiktok Short out of it. :)Overall, my first experience at Chongqing Noodle House was excellent and every time after has been the same.My photos don't do this place justice. It was night time, horrible photography lighting, and I was starving so I quickly snapped these photos. I didn't even get photos of our entire order. :PI think their first day of serving BBQ was this evening so their selection was limited (there were so many other selections that I can't wait to try), though we ordered two skewers of each item they had available, being the following:BeefLambSquidChicken WingChicken HeartLamb LiverChicken FeetBreadMmm, the BBQ bread sandwiching a peice a BBQ meat. Absolutely delicious. :)

I had to write a review as I am sitting here in the restaurant eating the noods right now. It's sooo good. I ordered the braised pork ribs and hand cut noodles (#8) and I have to say that I am a big fan of the noodle texture. It's chewy goodness. The broth was also on point. Service was also good and pretty chill tbh. I also ordered the pig ears just to meet the minimum $20 when paying with credit card. Oh, and the hours don't really match up on Yelp. It says they're closed today however I walked by and noticed that they're open. I did bring that up to their attention and they said there is new ownership so it hasn't been updated. Just fyi.

It was a cold day, so wanted to eat something warm with soup. The service was great, my party was seated and immediately served tea while looking at the menu. I had the beef noodle with hand pulled noodles and the Zha Jiang Noodles. The Zha Jiang noodles came out warm with the noodles cooked well in terms of chewiness and texture. The pork had lots of yummy flavor as well. The beef noodle was great as well, the hand pulled noodles were cooked perfectly and the braised beef was tender and flavorful. Would definetly come again.
