Excellent croissants
The bread from this bakery is BY FAR my favorite bread in the whole of Bay area. Their pepper gruyere sourdough is my very favorite (a must try!) and the regular sourdough, sesame baguette and English muffins are pretty great too. Highly recommend!
Ordered a 6 inch triple chocolate mousse cake for my husband’s birthday. There was a slight mess-up with finding my order at pick-up but was quickly resolved. Cake is any chocolate lover’s dream but we wished it had more cake vs icing/filling..seems like smaller cakes have a thin layer of cake only. Also tried their almond croissants and tomato sariette pastry which was a delicious and crispy savory treat for a late breakfast!
Incredible baked goods for a fair price. The best ham and cheese croissant I've ever had., and their bread pudding is lovely
I used to love this bakery. I visited yesterday and got an apple slice $7.50 for one piece ($1 is tip).
I cut it in half and had half yesterday. I thought the dough must have been overworked because it was so flat.
Then I got sick all night until this afternoon.
I open the container where I had put the other half and with bright daylight I couldn’t believe my eyes… the dough is raw 😣 completely raw.
I won’t shop here again.
There are plenty of good bakeries around, go somewhere else!
Bad job, Crispian bakery!!
To the man hassling the staff this morning over some kind of bread emergency; it was actually a relief to watch you make an unwelcome fool of yourself, because that means more pillowy Japanese milk bread, decadent cupcakes, and perfect cappuccinos for the rest of us. There's a reason why Crispian runs out of items, and it's because their bread, pastries, and cakes are unmatched by any other bakery in Alameda.
So, if you're a clown who throws a tantrum when you can't get your clown hands on a loaf of sesame bread, then this place isn't for you. But, if you love incredible baked goods and stellar customer service from lovely people, run don't walk.
I love their banana bread and chocolate chip cookies. Always a nice experience when stopping by to get myself a nice treat. Staff are patient, kind and very helpful
I love this bakery. Everything is wonderful. The staff are great and very friendly 😀
Great selection at reasonable prices with excellent coffee. Only challenge was there's no place to sit and no restrooms.
Quaint bakery with fresh Pastries and helpful staff. Great way to start the day with a croissant and cup of coffee (sweet treat options available too)

Great bakery in Alameda. It’s on Park closer to 880 side and has both sweet and savory options. The Ham and Cheese croissant, laced with mustard inside, might be the best I’ve ever had.

We got a butter croissant, a specialty croissant (apricot, almond, chocolate), a ham and Swiss croissant, and a soy latte. Everything was dry and over baked. The latte was lukewarm likely due to the addition of too-cold soy milk.
Goods look so delicious grand ? ? appetit
