Magnifique! The pastries here are top quality, with delicious, unusual flavors and even gluten free and vegan options! Terry & Miso are wonderful and make everyone feel right at home. Coffee and hot chocolate are excellent! Go here!

I don’t have any gluten or vegan hangups. i’m simply looking for a great tasting donut or cronut that a cashier will ringup. imagine my surprise when my donut tasted like fries. obviously the grease wasn’t changed out so this place is losing its clout. all i want is a donut that tastes a donut and not be given a tude by a cashier that’s rude that threw the dough in a vat of old oil that’s “crude”!
there you have it…..
Tno Money….

Workers just stand around or spend a long time making a coffee while there's a line and no one at the register.

My daughter and I purchased two cronuts and a Boston Cream donut. One of the cronuts had a slight taste that it was either over fried or fried in old oil. The texture was good on both, but for the price, I expected an overall better taste. The Boston Cream donut was claggy, probably due to an abundance of cream filling. Also, the chocolate icing had something in it that off put the flavor of the chocolate (less is more when it comes to icing, INHO).

Best donut spot I've found in the bay! Love the pistachio old fashioned. I got a mixed dozen too and everything I tried was yummy.

The best donuts in Alameda, you can't go wrong with any of their options, and they have gluten free and vegan choices as well.

We stopped by here about an hour before they closed and were happy they still had some donus left. These donuts were literally the best I've ever eaten. I can't wait to try their other flavors!

Completely over-rated, visuals-only donut shop. Interior is as if Blue Bottle Coffee married American Girl. Very cute and makes you feel good. Even then, the donuts were really subpar. The cronut was SOGGY. Are you kidding me? At this price range, I would expect the cronut to have all the qualities of a croissant as well as be gently wafting me into sweetness. Instead, it was a soggy piece of kitchen towel doused in sugar and cream. The marshmallow chocolate. Great concept and looks good. But when you use a mediocre donut as the base, what good can come? The donut was neither fluffy or the chewy type. Just "bread". Again, it looked great until we bit into it.Finally, they old fashioned series - no matter what flavor. The essence of old fashioned is it has a crispy outside and a soft, ungrainy inside. It's dense yet goes easy. Over in this joint, the old fashioned feels half done. No crisp. Felt soggy. Not sure how this store is pulling off a 4.7 star (as of this writing). Won't be returning, especially not at this price point. There are so many other great donut spots around the area if you take donuts seriously.
Parking: There's the Webster St public paid parking lot right next to it. Not easy to find a spot there though.
Kid-friendliness: Lot's of inviting flavors visually presented.

Nice chill spot. Staff can be a bit impatient, but don't blame them(they are really nice), there are so many unique offerings that people have a tendency to stand there staring (not joking). So if they're staring at you waiting and others are staring at you, you should probably just ask them to make you a box. Hot chocolate is SERIOUSLY hot chocolately. Make sure you get a mug and enjoy your pastry.

Sadly my wife is Gluten Free and although they advertise they have Gluten Free doughnuts they really don’t. Unless you call ahead and place an order the day before assume this isn’t on their menu. Even when they try and host a race event they bring 8 gluten free doughnuts, sell out, and then proceed to say they don’t sell. We aren’t that dumb, you might be, so understand that it’s a cycle. Whenever you don’t have a GF doughnut you advertise, we might come back once or twice. But when you never have them in stock and then have the gaul to say they don’t sell, its pathetic. It’s a cycle that you create. Just take them off your menus and make them custom order only if you are being honest about them not selling. But while you are at it, tell me how many no gluten free doughnuts you waste.Hell you don’t even say anywhere that “we only make the GF ones on the weekend” so like, just be better.
