We stopped by here about an hour before they closed and were happy they still had some donus left. These donuts were literally the best I've ever eaten. I can't wait to try their other flavors!

Completely over-rated, visuals-only donut shop. Interior is as if Blue Bottle Coffee married American Girl. Very cute and makes you feel good. Even then, the donuts were really subpar. The cronut was SOGGY. Are you kidding me? At this price range, I would expect the cronut to have all the qualities of a croissant as well as be gently wafting me into sweetness. Instead, it was a soggy piece of kitchen towel doused in sugar and cream. The marshmallow chocolate. Great concept and looks good. But when you use a mediocre donut as the base, what good can come? The donut was neither fluffy or the chewy type. Just "bread". Again, it looked great until we bit into it.Finally, they old fashioned series - no matter what flavor. The essence of old fashioned is it has a crispy outside and a soft, ungrainy inside. It's dense yet goes easy. Over in this joint, the old fashioned feels half done. No crisp. Felt soggy. Not sure how this store is pulling off a 4.7 star (as of this writing). Won't be returning, especially not at this price point. There are so many other great donut spots around the area if you take donuts seriously.Parking: There's the Webster St public paid parking lot right next to it. Not easy to find a spot there though.Kid-friendliness: Lot's of inviting flavors visually presented.

Donut Petit is such a treat! The vegan pistachio donut is my FAV!! I love the interior design and the cashiers are always so welcoming and gracious.

A lovely little place with yummy donuts and a nice ambience to sit inside or outside on a nice day.

Adorable little donut place just off adorable Webster street on the adorable Island of Alameda. Filled with happy people. Just spent $60 dollars on office snacks here. Usual donut fare, with some upscale surprises. Two thumbs up for the kouign amann and the fresh strawberry whipped creme concoction. The humble little buttermilk squares were also yummy. Two dozen donuts vanished from the office break room in record time. I'll be back.

Nice chill spot. Staff can be a bit impatient, but don't blame them(they are really nice), there are so many unique offerings that people have a tendency to stand there staring (not joking). So if they're staring at you waiting and others are staring at you, you should probably just ask them to make you a box. Hot chocolate is SERIOUSLY hot chocolately. Make sure you get a mug and enjoy your pastry.

Sadly my wife is Gluten Free and although they advertise they have Gluten Free doughnuts they really don’t. Unless you call ahead and place an order the day before assume this isn’t on their menu. Even when they try and host a race event they bring 8 gluten free doughnuts, sell out, and then proceed to say they don’t sell. We aren’t that dumb, you might be, so understand that it’s a cycle. Whenever you don’t have a GF doughnut you advertise, we might come back once or twice. But when you never have them in stock and then have the gaul to say they don’t sell, its pathetic. It’s a cycle that you create. Just take them off your menus and make them custom order only if you are being honest about them not selling. But while you are at it, tell me how many no gluten free doughnuts you waste.Hell you don’t even say anywhere that “we only make the GF ones on the weekend” so like, just be better.

Such a cute donut spot in the heart of Alameda! Come support your local businesses!Came in on a Thursday morning because I was craving some donuts and I got a maple donut- bomb. Perfectly glazed with maple syrup and just the right size for only $2.

Can't believe there's this awesome donut establishment right here in Alameda. So good!! The cronuts are top-notched, perfectly done, light, and just the right amount of sweetness; the pistachio, strawberry, bacon, and apple donuts were amazing! As for the apple fritter, the consistency was perfect but like most of these I have had--too sweet for me. Get there very early as they sell out quickly from what I've heard so I was first in line today (first-timer), and there were people already in line outside waiting for it to open. Customer service was nice but I wish they would smile. Probably had a long morning already ?. Go there already!

Can't go wrong the donuts! This places is so cute. Parking lot right next to the store which makes it really convenient. There was a farmers market happening during the time of my visit but I was lucky to find parking.I was greeting by a nice lady! Got some donuts for my daughter and her friends and they loved it!! Not too sweet and it was nice and soft! Can't wait to come back to try the other flavors.

Such a lovely & special donut shop. Kids & I were having a hard time deciding which flavors to get. All 3 flavors were delicious - Oreo, pineapple, & strawberry Pocky Mochi. They made their donut holes into these cute donut kabobs that we’ll have to try next time:)So glad we were able to stop by before closing time!

Interesting doughnuts. Little pricey but worth the cost.

I've been coming to Donut Petit for well over a year now, and I always order the Le Ding donut. It's my absolute favorite, and it's always been filled with whipped cream. Lately it's been filled with some really, really bad frosting. So bad I threw the donuts in the garbage. Today I went and asked specifically if they were filled with frosting or whipped cream. The lady behind the counter was very nice and went and asked the baker, said they even tasted it, and verified it was whipped cream. Great, I'll take 2. I left to finish errands and get home, they are filled with the really, really bad frosting. I'm not sure how you mistook frosting for whipped cream, but this was a wasted trip for me as I threw them in the garbage. I will not be going back here again.
