5 stars isn't enough. 10 stars isn't enough. My sister had her wedding here yesterday and we had an indescribably good time. Special shout-out to Heidi and Justin. They kept us comfortable, never intruded, and made great conversation when you needed a break at the bar. Cannot say enough good things about Hangar 1

I really enjoyed the tour and tasting here. What made my visit extra special was the ability to snag a bottle of the Hangar 1 fog vodka. It's the smoothest vodka I've ever tasted. The fact that they make it with San Francisco's fog was an extra special touch. I've always had a hard time getting a bottle online. It's a great conversation piece at parties.

I was stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana on the east coast back in the 90s and I can tell you this for sure: If the Navy had installed a distillery and tasting lounge into one of our hangar bays like Hangar 1, I might have reenlisted. My wife and I sailed in from SF for our anniversary Hangar 1 was definitely an Alameda highlight. Valerie was the hostess with the mostest. She and the rest of the gang were super knowledgable, super friendly and super fun. And the vodka, of course, was super tasty! After the tasting we made our way upstairs to the cocktail bar where the good times and revelry continued. Highly recommend!

Viviane was amazing. She did a fantastic job during our tour. We really enjoyed the Rose, the Honeycomb, and surprisingly the Brandy. Vivian’s energy and patience during the tour really made our experience. We are planning a birthday party here in September due to her excellent service.

My boyfriend and I had the most INCREDIBLE time here! We did the mini cocktail tasting and stayed after to just chat with our new friend Vivian! She made the experience 10/10. The cocktails were great and definitely like nothing I had tasted before, all were unique in their own way. We had no clue there was a bar upstairs and wow were we in for a treat! We each got one drink and it was exceptional. The sunset view was gorgeous and we cannot wait to go again! They have a bottle shop near the tasting room which was very well stocked and I’m ready to go buy some bottles next time! 15/10 experience and we cannot wait to come back with our friends!

Best dry vodka martini you will ever taste in one of the most unique venues. The view of the SF skyline from the 2nd floor cocktail lounge is worth the trip alone.

What fun! We took the basic tour that included six tastings today. It was informative, humorous, and delicious! Highly recommend!

We really enjoy our visit to Hangar 1 Vodka. We had a delicious drink up in the bar. I love the old- time Navy aviation feel of the building and the bar.The service was good and we felt Covid safe. The drink was one of the best we've had and have enjoyed other choices on their menu in the past.The view of the bay and the SF skyline is a treat.People were enjoying the tour of the distillery which is also something special they offer.We saw the new trolley car that now takes people around the different places on Spirit Alley.

Lovely vodka, lovely location, lovely people!! Two friends and I celebrated a birthday doing Hangar One's cocktail making class. It was a tour followed by a fun experience in which you pick a cocktail, they measure it out, and you mix it. I would say if you want to learn a lot about mixology this is probably not the class for you, but if you just want to enjoy the vodka and learn a couple of basics about mixology in a lovely setting with some friends, this is a great way to spend an afternoon!

I did a tour with Tanya and was absolutely impressed with how informative the tour was and how good the vodka and brandy was. I normally don't enjoy imfused vodka but the buddha finger and hiney vodkas are game changers. I then did a tasting with Wesley Yim and Caitlyn and their professionalism and knowledge of their products was showcased during the tasting. I highly recommend going to hangar 1 for a weekend excursion and once your done they are right next to Runway to get a great cocktail for Joachim.
