The customer service is regularly swift, great vibes, very nice employees. I will eat here again when I get in the area.
I love this place! The vibe is awesome and there is amazing food.
This place has gone through different management.... much better then, but their dim sum is Good, when available. Had a celebration there the service was not good. Ordered Mongolian beef, came out as "onions with super salt and traces of beef," Totally over priced! Was good then, but '"Icky" now! Was the food cooked with love then? Cause it tastes like complacency now! Misses old Kapok. Sorry, but it was better. They also treated others better than they did us. So saddened and disappointed because they used to have quality food for the price despite the poor service.
Takes forever to get anything
Price for food good. Dim sum is reasonable. Not fancy
A great value for solid Cantonese cuisine. Dont expect anything extraordinary. Dont expect great service. But do expect the best prices in the area and good food.
Great food, very special flavors
This was my first time being here and the food was absolutely great!! So amazing. Expect not rude service but be understanding of there culture. The service was good but yes hard to understand them for sure. But we went with the flow and things were great!!! I recommend this and go back again and again!!
Fantastic! The room may not be that fancy but the food is absolutely great!
We love Kapoks. We always go for dim sum when we come here to maintain our small apartment building half a block from it. Today we had shrimp dumplings (har-gow), pork dumplings (shy-mai); scallop dumplings, Shanghai dumplings; sparerib in black bean sauce; pan-fried turnip squares and Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce. All were so delicious! We arrived so hungry I didn't think of taking a photo until I was leaving to bag up my takeout, but here's a photo of what I took home to eat later! I read complaints on google maps that the servers here don't speak English well but I love the help. The staff is pleasant and helpful if you just appreciate it's differences from other styles of dining. It has delicious and inexpensive dim sum and other fabulous Chinese seafood dishes!

Good food for a great price
They tried to sell to us several times what we didn't order. The waiter did not understand English and did not bring what I ordered.
No me gusta. It used to be a lot better. It was not busy at all and the service was still poor. The food had no flavor either anymore.
If I could choose 0 stars I would. Food was cold, flavor(not), gravy was watery, got our order all wrong. Service was terrible. Not worth the money. Very disappointed.
the staff is rude, all of our dishes were served wrong, and before we got our food we had to wait from the moment we walked in. unimpressed, isn't good since they changed owners.
