Not sure what happened to this place, my first visit here was a few months ago and everything was great. I ordered a large order of chicken, biscuits, and the fried corn for a family gathering. Today I decided to stop by and relive that great day when everything was on point. I was so wrong and disappointed, the items I ordered were chicken and biscuits. The chicken was too salty as well as under cooked. The biscuits which are supposed to be honey butter biscuits comparable to church's were not biscuits, I was given cornbread. Don't get me wrong I love cornbread too but just not this cornbread, it was really bland and dry. I'm not sure I'll be returning to this location.

I visited this place thinking it was gonna be like all the other krispy chicken places where the chicken is really good and prices are decent Boy was I wrong smh first off all they totally ignored me for like 15 to 20 minutes than I order the shrimp meal First off all thier prices are extremely high compared to all the other krispy chicken places I got to Second of all they make you wait a long time Third of all the food is horrible They don't use the krispy chicken that the company requires you to use they use some kind of cheap chicken & shrimp that tastes horrible Fourth of all they are really cheap they don't keep you the fries that come witt the meal or sauces Don't come here

Came back to my hometown I grew up in, Alameda, CA. Came across this awesome little place. Decided to try it and OMG...this place...can I say, THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD!!! There was a bunch of us with kids. We ordered the family deal. I must say that our food was brought out fresh, hot, and so delicious! If you really want some amazing fried chicken, forget about every other place and just come here. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to the cashier for taking care of our big group. Thank you to the gentleman cook for making some awesome chicken! We will be back every time we are in town.

This is by far the worst location that I've ever been to. After waiting over an hour for our food, the chicken wasn't crispy or crunchy even after having asked them to drop the chicken back into the fryer. Not only was the wait extremely long and their being only 4 order ahead of us there are two huge "Black Owned Business" signs and the establishment is owned and raised by Asians with an over worked and harshly treated older black cashier. The chicken is soggy, the sides were old and dry, the lady at the register was amazingly patient and helpful, the Asian lady who was running the joint? Oh she's extremely rude, disrespectful and even tried to charge my friend for her side of greens twice offering no apology for the old western non blinking stare down of judgement. Oh and all the meals that are combos that include a side at other locations..? Yeah this places menus reads combo but is chicken only. So I spent almost 50 bucks for 2 meals, to be treated like trespassers and for the food to be absolutely horrible to the point where u just can't eat or rescue it with an air fryer.

This is my favorite KKC outlet. One of the proprietors, Brenda, always goes the extra mile for her customers. Their Krispy Krunchy Chicken is always fresh and Brenda told me they never make large batches of chicken and leave them sitting under the heat lamps.This is a Black-owned business and I encourage anyone reading this review to patronize this location for Krispy Krunchy Chicken.The other menu items are delicious and prepared to order. There is an emphasis on quality at this location which is why I always visit whenever I am in Alameda.BOAT OWNERS: Krispy Crunchy Chicken is great to take out on the Bay!!!! Your crew will love it.

In Alameda, the best place to get Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) is the KKC counter inside Johnathan's Sandwich House. The fried chicken they serve there is juicy, and not as salty as other places. Anyway, don't you feel better getting hot food from a restaurant? Instead of a gas station or corner market? People who work in restaurants are more familiar with quality control, holding times, and food handling procedures. Last time I was there, I ordered a 4-pc chicken (dark) and a biscuit. That chicken was juicy and delicious. Most likely freshly cooked, as I saw them stocking the warmer with more chicken. There was a line as usual, but service is friendly and quick. Located on Santa Clara, between Park St and Oak, near CVS.

I got there just before closing and I was pleasantly surprised the chicken was not dry. I prefer dark meat because white meat is usually dry. But the white meat was moist! I'll try the po'boy sammich next time.

I tried Krispy Krunchy Chicken during the week and literally had to come back during the weekend ! This location is black owned and their menu is like no other! LITERALLY… (I went to two different locations looking for the meal I had at this location and left both disappointed and without placing an order) literally so good I traveled for it! I love the shrimp so much lol The owner and staff were so kind! The owner treated my daughter to a Frazil drink while we waited for our order. Highly recommend! It’s so rare to find great good and great service so THANK YOU KRISPY KRUNCHY TEAM!

This is the place from the chicken to the shrimp!!!! The old school grape coolaid and all the sides I even had to double the order on the biscuits!!! Simply amazing!! The owner MRS BRENDA, MR TONY, was awesome they greet you like you were friends from school. This is what customer service is suppose to be. The whole experience was greet even my six year old who is extremely shy warmed right up to all of the employees. Both my girls thought Popeyes (lol) was the best, Not anymore. We will make it our spot once a week even though it's a 20 min drive well worth it.....

The chicken breast was tender and not at all dry. Best chicken I've ever bought. Strips and fries were good too A+ Edit: tried it again and I'm doubling down. This is seriously the best fried chicken I've ever had period. Whatever they're doing, I hope they never change! 100% recommended to anyone that will listen. Thighs and drumsticks are amazing too. Not dry, not too greasy, salty and delicious! Saves me from making my house smell like grease for great chicken. Super incredible cold the next day too. Regular chicken is way better than strips but they're great too.
