Afternoon tea. Interesting experience. Recommend reservations. We went here recently (brother recommended this place). The place was quaint. We selected the tea for one. Each of us chose 2 sandwich flavors and a pot of tea. I got the flowering tea, it has a mild flowery taste and is visually pleasing. Sandwiches were an interesting experience. Amazing tea! Came in for our reservation a bit early and were able to be seated which was nice. Inside is cute and intimate. Service was wonderful! Tea was good as well, with the option for more hot water if requested.

We went to Malaya tea room to celebrate a birthday. It was a great experience and very reasonably priced for high tea service. I loved the concept of a Malaysian British tea, and the flavors did not disappoint. Their menu had traditional tea sandwiches as well as some fusion options from Malaysia. The deserts were beautifully done, light with great flavor. I especially loved their clotted cream and scones, a classic well done.
