We were strolling the streets near Moscone center and thought of trying food options in San Francisco center mall. To our surprise there we found this place. Must say that you have to go there if you are thinking of having “desi food”. Absolutely delicious food, and good portion size. Variety of non-veg and veg options to choose from.Lovely people behind the counter, you can talk in english, hindi or punjabi.

Was visiting San Fran from NY, and craving for Indian/Pakistani food, when saw the ratings for this place, wondered how is it possible - almost 200 near 5 reviews - so had to give it a try and boy would have regretred if left without trying food here. First of all the lady at the cash (maybe the owner) stopped us from over ordering (who does that) then she recomended lamb shank dish and we also ordered somosa chat - when getting food , she added lamb korma complimentary - each and every one of the dishes were simply amazing ! can’t believe they are in a good court - must try if visiting this area and you are craving for home made halal food for amazing price !
This review after the second visit we just finished the food, it was consistent one of the best south east Asia’s food. After trying lots of Indian food this Pakistani restaurant was surprisingly great and made us fall in love with their meat and chicken. We ordered lamb korma and chicken tikka masala And it was just perfect doneness never dry both lamb and chicken, also the seasoning and the marination were just PERFECT, we didn’t want to write a review until we try their food more than once so we tried the same dish twice and in the second visit we got Nan bread free from the owner. They were nice and friendly and the food deserve 10 out of 10 ??
Whilst in San Francisco with my parents we were craving some home food. I am so glad we discovered this place and gave it a shot. It did not disappoint. Great portion size and amazing flavour in the lab curry! We also had milky desi tea and it hit the spot. I wish them all the success and hope people leave more reviews so others can see how good it is.
Went here to try Pakistani food for the first time and the food was awesome, I ordered the Aloo Tiki Chaat and the portion size of the food was top notch plus the flavor was amazing. The spice levels were perfect and the service is fast. They have super friendly staff that are super sweet and caring for their customers. Loved it so much!!
Hidden Gem!! Lives up to the reviews and more. The plate of lamb shank over biryani was tender and delicious. With the sauce generously ladled over and a side of super flavorful garlic naan, easily enough food for two. The host was incredibly gracious and friendly, making us feel like treasured regulars on our last night visiting SF from NYC. Thank you Mashaalah Hilal!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance, seating and restroom easily wheelchair accessible ♿ via elevator from ground floor Market St entrance.

The city's finest Pakistani cuisine can be found at this restaurant. The owners extend a warm and welcoming atmosphere, treating you like a member of their own family. Every item on their menu is delectable and guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds. I highly recommend giving their food a try, as it is sure to leave you impressed. Personally, I can't get enough of their Seekh Kabab – it's my absolute favorite!
Food is fresh, flavorful and very filling with generous portions. I am very particular about meat quality and the chicken shami kebab was well made and accompanied with chicken biryani. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to special requests. I am visiting so unfortunately I will not have the opportunity to try other entrees. The only negative is the food court tables are not very clean which has nothing to do with the vendor.
This is legit one the BEST lamb shanks I’ve ever had, you simply need to stop by to try it! I ask for it to be on Biryani rice and spicy. It also comes with a lamb broth soup that brings the whole meal together. You wouldn’t assume that in a food court you could find food of such high quality, but I cannot say enough great things about Mashaallah Halal Pakistani! I’ve been coming here regularly; and the owners are always there, being incredibly nice, and serving authentic Pakistani food.On top of this, the whole menu is set at an extremely fair price range, portion sizes are big, and the food is always consistently good! This is easily the best Pakistani food in San Francisco.I literally come to the mall, just to eat here. It feels like you’re dining in a family home, with food cooked with care by your parents. I can’t wait to try their other items (they have curries, chicken tandoori, etc). You’ll love the food, they got something for everyone.
Even though it’s in the food court at a mall the food was incredible and the people working there are just so nice, I had the lamb shank, and it was amazing, especially the soup! Highly recommended ??

The BEST Pakistani food I've had in the Bay Area. Everything they serve is amazing, but the biryani with the chicken leg is on another level. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. The owners are so lovely, and chatting with them in Urdu makes me feel right at home.

Looking for lunch near my hotel and found this restaurant that had great reviews. Service was excellent and really friendly. The veg combo comes with two sides, but the woman serving asked if I liked eggplant and added that as a third. The channa masala was excellent. Definitely an unexpected find in a food court.Vegetarian options: Not a huge part of the menu, but clearly marked and very good.

The best food you can get in the food court. Incredible chicken biryani with a very generous portion, definitely worth coming back to again. The staff are also very friendly.
