Really good burgers and the young woman at the counter was fabulous. You have to eat on the street sparklett. The garlic fries are dangerously Delicious.
I was in Oakland when someone said that this was the best burger that they’d ever had. Of course we hopped in an Uber and headed to Scolari’s to check it out. The Blueberry Bacon Cheese Burger seems like a lot on paper, but the ingredients work really well together. I never would have paired blueberry with blue cheese, but it works and I thoroughly enjoyed it! My buddies got regular burgers and they enjoyed those as well. Scolari's Good Eats is a take-out spot with a shared bar area next door and picnic benches outside. The atmosphere might not be the best, but the food is awesome. The Good ol Boy Chicken sandwich is tender and flavorful, while the Scampi fries are fantastic. The Blueberry Bacon Blue Cheese Au Poivre burger is a must-try, and the Blue cheese Burger is highly recommended. The food truck at Almanac Brewery in Alameda offers excellent, juicy burgers, although they can be a bit messy to eat. The chicken salad is fresh, but the fries are a bit too salty. Despite the long wait times at the food truck, the delicious food makes it worth a visit. The owner is very friendly, offering advice on ordering and specials, and even providing indoor seating at their sister restaurant across the street when it's raining. Scolari’s doesn’t have indoor seating, but there are covered tables outside along the sidewalk. Customers can also wait and eat at the Lucky 13 bar next door, which will bring their food when ready. Located on the corner of Park St. and Encinal Ave., Scolari’s is a hidden gem among the vibrant eatery and drinkery spots in the area.
