Paid $130 for EIGHT sandwiches. Six chicken shawarma and two falafel. I was lucky to find some chicken and some falafel. I got what I would call “ salad sandwiches “. The service was very slow although there weren’t many customers. The girl taking orders was not nice at all. The food tasted normal. Would I ever try again? No thank you.

After trying tahina, I don't think that I will be returning to my go-to Falafel spot anymore.
Tahina offers a variety of vegan options that are clearly labelled on the menu such as; eggplant dip, a trio of hummus (cilantro, regular, and red pepper), fries, chickpea salad, and more. You can either go for a plate, salad, or gyro/wrap but I decided to go with the plant based lamb plate given that's something I do not frequently see at other Mediterranean spots.
The "lamb" skewers were delicious as was the chickpea salad and cilantro hummus that I ordered as sides. Not pictured but I had a side of fries and they were seasoned with mediterranean seasonings & paired well with a cilantro dipping sauce.
The plus of this is that it's actually affordable to eat here and the portions are big!
