The barman was fantastic and made the best drinks. And speaking of which, I have never seen a cooler bar! Great selection of drinks and the happy hour food... not the usual deep fried slop. This was good quality, fresh and delicious, well made food.
The main meal was amazing! The stroganoff pasta was so flavorful and the beef just fell apart with the edge of my fork. The home-made fettuccine was yummy. The salmon with spinach risotto was fresh and excellently cooked and I very much enjoyed the Peruvian peppers.
The service was impeccable. I was impressed with the ambiance and design of the restaurant too; very comfortable and cozy. I loved the fresh rose on each table.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with Park Street Tavern. The food is fabulous and the drinks are the best made on this island. I would recommend this spot hands down. It's a gem!

There was a wild high speed law enforcement chase that ended in a crash & arrest and impacted staff so we got our drinks later than usual. This was very unusual for this restaurant. The bar was very crowded too. Also possibly due to the police activity on the park street bridge. The server and manager were apologetic and made sure we had plenty of bread and water and got our appetizer quickly too—the Halloumi cheese, delicious as always. The shrimp scampi and stroganoff were also perfectly cooked with homemade noodles. This is our go to place for Rosh Hashanah dinner and other special dinners.

The Park Street Tavern never disappoints! My husband got the veal scallopini which he said was absolutely delicious. I had to try the stroganoff, which was not on the menu since I was last there (quite some time ago). I too thought it was amazingly delicious! The Park Street Tavern is my favorite restaurant in Alameda!
