Food was just average and definitely not worth the $145. The chef’s hand was injured and I could actually see blood, but he continued preparing the food. It made the experience very uncomfortable.
Hard to reserve seats at this 8 seat only Omakase behind an unmarked door in Alameda. Led by a quality, experience, and diner education obsessed chef who personally selects and imports most of the seafood from Japan.
It is a personally catered omakase bar service of very high quality. They also have a lovely sake selection.

This was a beautiful delightful omakase experience. The service was peaceful and detailed. 2 super helpful servers and 1 amazing skilled Japanese chef, sits 8. We had a great time, the fish was super fresh, the chef explained everything accordingly. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and they even added a sweet candle on the delicious dessert. 100% recommended.
