I want to commend Janet on her great customer service. As the line started to back up she apologized multiple times and said someone would be with us shortly. Such a simple yet effective gesture but one that shows that they truly care! I don't understand why this isn't part of everyone's customer service training. There are two Starbucks in Alamo Plaza Shopping Center. This one is a grab-and-go inside Safeway. The menu selection is limited compared to the stand-alone Starbucks. Does not have place to sit. But because it is inside the Safeway, there are Safeway Starbucks Just for U offers that you will not get at the stand-alone Starbucks if you are a Safeway Rewards card holder. This Starbucks struggles a little because they are constantly short of staff and always have new faces working. You literally know what you are going to get If you end up getting one of the regulars that work the counter your coffee will be great! Just usually pretty busy. Would be nice to hire more people Also wish they carried sandwiches like the other Starbucks
