Great place! They’ve gluten-free beers, friendly staff, the best background music, and phenomenal food. I had the brisket sandwich and the brisket was top-notch, much better than what some of the Bay Area BBQ joints turn out. It feels cozy here and the patrons are friendly and jolly.

We love the Albany Taproom. Great selection of beers, they have a drawer of coloring books and crayons for the kids, and the food is delicious! We have been coming for years and always have a good time. I am honestly not sure why it isn't busier, as it seems like such an ideal spot.

The beer here is awesome, but the bar snacks are awesomer. The lamb tacos, burger of the day, or even pickled veggies as a side for fish and chips.The constant creations coming out of the kitchen are amazing. The picked jalapeño aioli is a nice addition to the weekly specials, and hopefully regular menu items as well.Mike, Paty, Gina, Tumi, Frutosa, and Sam make the trek here worthwhile. Their knowledge of local beer and beverage trends is almost encyclopedic, making a decent stay at the bar the most enjoyable part of the day.Lastly, thanks to Reuben, turning out kitchen delights just before, during and after the Zombie lockdown. He helped keep this place alive with his creative culinary skills.

The Merguez Lamb Burger was excellent! I enjoyed the spices. Enough to give it flavor and not too spicy. I also had the Salmon Burger. Really delicious as well. Great selection of local beers and friendly staff.

5/28/22 getting my brakes replaced today across the way & walked over at 12pm and I had a lager mixed with hard KOMBOCHA (Rattler). My bf had Death & Taxes...we really wanted to eat but the guy fixing my brakes only took 25 minutes ?. The food looked amazing from what I saw (family of 4) the menu looked amazing too. Mike was our "beer" tender and he was super pleasant & had great conversations. Definitely, be back when not in a rush.. lol
Stopped for a couple 5pm beers before I have to go with my wife to visit her step brother. Hella selection of about 30+ taps. The beers are listed on a couple chalk boards and I like that they’re color coded by style. The board lists ABV but once again, a beer bar that hasn’t figured out that real beer fans also want to know IBU. I done see how you can expect me to pick a beer from a list of 30 without that information! I was the only person there at 5pm but by the time I left there was 8-10. Bartender wore a mask the whole time.
