The Aloo Gobi pizza is my absolute go to! Fabulous, so tasty and satisfying. I haven't tried many other things, because it seems sad to pass up my favorite. La Vals is also very convenient. The pizzas are always ready in 20 minutes, the owners are very warm and personable, and if you opt for delivery that is very swift and courteous too. Strongly recommend!

Definitely not a, "gourmet", pizza joint, this offshoot of the La Val's on Euclid, nonetheless makes really economical pizza that will fill you up on a budget! I ordered the small pizza for $9.99, and a diet Coke, which means you can get in and out of this place for 12 bucks which is a deal these days, and the pizza was passibly good, and while I wouldn't brag on it, I'd say that if you're on a budget and you want to fill up quick for cheap this is a great spot. Owners are real nice too. Friendly people.This is your plan B pizza.

Laval's Pizza in Albany, CA is an absolute gem! I recently had the pleasure of trying their Paneer Pizza, and it was a delightful culinary experience. The paneer was perfectly cooked, with a wonderful blend of spices that made every bite a burst of flavor. If you've been fortunate enough to experience really good pizza, you will not be happy with LaValle's. The crust sets the stage for good or mediocre pizza and that's where it all ends for Lavalle's. So disappointed as I would have loved to have a good local pizza place. Had one slice, through the rest away. You can do better.

I might be stating the obvious here, but don't order online from here. Per the restaurant it is a third party that they have no control over. So if your order is wrong LaVal's won't refund you. They will direct to call and complain to the third party. The third party will tell you they have to call LaVal's. You will not get refund from either party. But the LaVal's will politely offer to make your correct order, but "you have to pay for it."

Last night I drove down to La Val's for pizza, and there was a power outage across Albany. It was pitch black on the streets and all of the businesses were closed. I assumed there was NO chance La Val's would be open or that I would get a pizza, but I was starving so I decided to give it a shot. I pulled up to La Val's and the owner popped out, walked over to my car, and much to my surprise told me that yes, he would make me a pizza (I had cash and they have a gas oven that was still running)! I then watched from the window while he made my pizza BY FLASHLIGHT!!! I'm not even kidding. La Val's made me a pizza during a blackout using a gas oven and a flashlight! I've never seen that sort of kindness and dedication at any business. Truly unbelievable! After about 10 minutes, the owner brought out the pizza and we both got a laugh about the whole situation. And, of course, the pizza was perfect!!! That said, I love La Val's! Best pizza in the East Bay! I've grabbed pizza there many times over the past few years and they never disappoint. Quick and friendly service, great prices, delicious pies. I highly recommend the Desi Vegetarian and the Aloo Gobi pizzas! And I can now say with firsthand knowledge that even during a blackout La Val's still delivers an epic pizza!!!

We initially found a different Indian pizza place, but there were issues with checking out, so we were looking for an alternative and found La Val's. If this is the same branch as the one in Berkeley, this is one of the small handful of pizza places, where I can eat and be on a positive mood. We soon discovered, that La Val's also offers Indian pizza, so we tried it out. We ordered one with pineapple and the other with the chicken tikka masala.These two pizzas were very delicious. I was expecting the pineapple to be more refreshing than the Indian pizza, but I was wrong. Turned out the latter was refreshing, new and also become a family favorite. I loved how tender and not dry the chicken was, and the meat had flavor. To my surprise, I was able to eat more than I estimated, so overall a happy dinner time.
Very good customer service and delicious pizza, very clean and well organized will come again and I recommend to everyone

This is the BEST Indian style pizza I have ever had, and I have tried many. I don't know what they put in it but the sauce always has me coming back for more. Not to mention, the owner is a very friendly guy who I heard has been in the Pizza game even in Europe. No wonder this pizza is delicious. 10/10 recommend.
