Went to dinner with a few of my lady friends after seeing a show in the city, this was the perfect ending to a phenomenal day. I had the crab cakes and they were delish, a couple of people in my group had the fried chicken/fried catfish combo and that looks delicious as well. I highly recommend Lizzy’s Cajun Cafe.
The service at this place really touched me. Such warm and thoughtful people. The jambalaya had a beautiful complexity and just the right heat, and the fried shrimp had a lovely texture.
Always wanted to eat here but never seem to get the timing right, a friend took him here for a Sunday brunch, and we ordered the two-way combos with ribs and links, potato salad, each of which come with a little piece of bread.Both the ribs and the links were outstanding, slow cooked, smoky, tender, crispy on the edges, and the sauce was excellent. We didn't eat inside though because they were catering for an event, and it was interesting to see a bunch of super well dressed...
