Fixed menu with 2 size options. Everything was so tasty, super fresh and healthy!
Great organic food. Gluten free diary free and sugar free!
Excellent food and relaxing atmosphere and kind staff :)
This place is truly such a gem. Such cozy foods that will nourish you from the inside out. Feels home cooked with love. My only wish for them is to use olive oil and avocado oils only! Seed oils like canola oil and sunflower oil are highly inflammatory and hard on the digestive system. Once in awhile I don’t mind, but I would definitely eat here more often if they used good oils exclusively as I know my body could tolerate it much better! All in all, grateful for an organic vegan spot to have locally!

If you're looking for a truly unforgettable vegan dining experience, Shangrila Buddha Organic Vegan Restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Every time I'm in the Bay Area, I make it a priority to stop by because the food and service are simply unbelievable. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a nourishing meal.
What makes this place so special? Simplicity and quality. They serve just one dish per day, but trust me—it’s always incredible! Each meal is carefully crafted with fresh, organic ingredients, delivering a perfect balance of flavors and textures. It’s comforting, satisfying, and you can taste the love and care put into every bite.
I also love that everything here is 100% organic and vegan, making it a guilt-free indulgence that leaves you feeling amazing afterward. Plus, the portions are generous, and the complimentary tea adds an extra touch of warmth to the experience.
Whether you're a dedicated vegan, a
health-conscious foodie, or just someone who appreciates delicious, wholesome meals, Shangrila Buddha is the place to be. Don’t miss out—this hidden gem will leave you craving your next visit!

Everyone that works here is very kind and gracious, and I've never had a bad meal here. I leave feeling full and satisfied and not gross and slushy! I would eat here every day if I could. The key lime pie is also fantastic and perfect tky tangy and sweet. Thanks, Shangri-La!

One of numerous macrobiotic-ish all vegan restaurants in the east bay serving similar menus. This one is delicious and filling. Menu changes slightly daily but basically consists of bean soup, collard greens w/ sauce, vegetables, beans, rice and green salad w/ dressing. Very tasty and enjoyable. Definitely would recommend. This place is nearly identical to my favorite restaurant in Sacramento (Himalayan Vegan). The food just makes you feel good! And don’t skip on the pie - OMG! The key lime pie was exquisite 😋
This place is the bomb. A night out at the Ivy Room down the block my destination, this place was the bonus. One block walk, and I was in heaven. A huge plate filled with dishes like collard greens in a beet, shitake, and onion gravy, veggies with a tofu creama, a salad with balsamic mint dressing and a mung bean stew. All this surrounding a scoop of brown rice. Exceptional, organic and all vegan!!!
I'm addicted! I will give Shangri-La Buddha all of money! There is no other place I prefer to eat since I've been coming here for over a year now. I'm sooooo glad they reopened after COVID. My friends make fun of me because I love love love this food so much and would rather eat here than any place on Earth! Stay away so I can have it all to myself ?‼️
