We came here because it's my son's favorite sushi place. He recommended it to us so we went for his birthday and we were very happy with everything, service was great, very generous portions, and everything was very tasty.

Absolutely best sushi. The chef is extremely passionate and talented, and it shows in the food and the service that is a lost art in current times. The prices are extremely fair for this quality of sushi. I think it's honestly worth more, but the lower prices make it more accessible. They have excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend spicy crunchy tuna roll, futomaki roll, shitaki maki vegetable tempura, and my partner recommends the white dragon roll. I have a crab allergy and have never had any issues here. Service is good and the atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is decorated and has a nice feel. My family and I are regulars at Sumo, it’s our go-to for sushi! Everyone is so nice there and the food is always great! The owner is also a basketball fan so we enjoy going there to watch the games. I highly recommend the salmon belly appetizer it (arrives at your table on fire) is both delicious and entertaining!

This was our first time dining here after hearing great reviews from a friend. Mainly, the food wasn't fresh tasting. We ordered our rolls, took a couple of bites, and then we immediately asked for the check. We actually found it weird that no one questioned if everything was okay so soon after receiving our food.

I really like the sushi rolls and the calm atmosphere at Sumo. Hot tea and miso soup to start on a rainy evening. It was my first time having the GoGo roll, with shrimp, avocado, cucumber and DF asparagus... give it a try! The baked scallop roll is a warm savory treat as well.

My friend made reservations for us here and the restaurant was very accommodating! The people here were very attentive and super pleasant which made the whole experience just absolutely great! The restaurant had a good trendy vibe and I liked the interior wall arts. We loved their nigiris especially their scallops and salmon which all of them were fresh and perfectly cut. Quite attentive service and overall, I loved everything about this restaurant in terms of food, the price, service, and they have parking which is always a plus. Will definitely come back and try different dishes off of their menu. Highly recommend!
