Extremely beautiful lodge with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Very pricey food.

Shabby hotel (more like a motel)
Incredibly dated, rundown and disgusting.
Toilet was like 50 years old and leaking.
Shower was falling apart.
Screen doors broke apart couldn’t close. Flies came in day and night. Service guy says it’s on his list.
Patio doors have no lock and don’t close entirely.
Carpet was stained and disgusting
Mini fridge was full of frost.
Restaurant was only open for bfast.
Nothing nearby.
Room was sad and depressing.
View was awesome.
This place isn’t worth $280 a night more like $99
If you really want the view, spend a night maybe.

Beautiful view straight from room’s balcony. Breakfast was pretty good too.
Location is not close to near city. Better to prepare some extra food
Rooms: Quiet and stunning view
Food and drinks: Food is wonderful. I order French toast and fried egg sandwiches

The restaurant is pricey, but fantastic. We had the nushroom bisque, mussels and ciopinno. It was well presented and melted in the mouth. And the scotch menu....

Stayed here for 2 nights on my PCH trip and the view is to die for. Every room has excellent views! I would say that what they lacked in amenities they made up with the views. There is no heat source other than the fireplace which I found to be really neat and cool. However, do not expect maid service or really any luxury touch. It was very basic and a bit old and dated but again the views. The restaurant on site had excellent food and wines! I would stay here again for the views.

Unit 20 is very tired and with it being the most expensive accommodation on the property the fact that most of the view out to the ocean is obscured by a huge amount of overgrown shrubs and trees it was very frustrating especially when I asked to be switched to another room which it clearly said there was another one available of similar price online directly through the hotels website but the innkeeper did not seem willing to make that adjustment she said there was another room available but it wasn't the same type which was not true. It was our 15th wedding anniversary and the experience was less than ideal, not to mention the bathroom is gigantic, however the shower is tiny with not even a 7-foot ceiling it's like being in a cave and the linoleum floors are horrendous and had mold underneath them.
On the positive side the location is amazing and it appears that they are in the beginning stages of making upgrades.

The view is absolutely the killer! I have never stayed in any ocean-front hotel/lodge with such a spectacular and open view without any single obstacles. Rooms is spacious, and they just renovated every room, making everything is perfect.
Also, their restaurant is a must-try, even though it is overly priced -- think about it as a premium you have pay for the view.

We've stayed here several times, including when it was the Albion River Inn. Great restaurant with a great bar and fabulous views. Rooms are cozy.
I'd give it more stars but unfortunately, I accidentally left my AirPods (ear buds) in the room. I called the very next morning to ask if anyone had found them. The answer was no. A bit later I realized I can track their location from my phone, so I did, and found that they were in nearby Fort Bragg.
So unfortunately, someone on the staff found them and took them.

Perfect weekend getaway. Rain or shine there is no wrong time to visit this place. We arrived when it was gloomy and rainy which made for a romantic evening to make a fire and listen to the rain. This made for a verdant and lush sunny day when the skies finally cleared up. The location and views are phenomenal. Best room service.

My and wife’s favorite place to stay. The most beautiful and peaceful place to say. You have a beautiful view from your deck which you can sit hours to enjoy. They have fire wood and a fire place ready for the cold nights with the most amazing jacuzzi bathtub to enjoy the view. Highly recommend this place to everyone. It doesn’t get more romantic than this. 10 Stars if could.

Great location, clean rooms and amazing ocean views!

Our room was outdated and in disrepair. Big rip on the screen door, worn out furniture, holes/stains/repairs needed. HOWEVER, the bed and pillows were amazing and the location is jaw-droppingly beautiful.

An absolutely amazing stay. The views were breathtaking even on a rainy stay. The fireplace made the rooms feel cozy. They even upgraded our room upon arrival! Will definitely be coming back.

Unbelievable view and incredible fireplace in room.. Place sits on top of a bluff and photos don’t do justice to view. Saw many birds of prey circling my morning coffee on porch.Food & drinks: Had breakfast which was excellent and fresh with beautiful view.
