March 2024 - Party of 6 on a Saturday around 12:30 p.m. No wait.Food/Pricing - See receipt pic for pricing. The food was good considering the price. Slightly salty though, had to drink much water. Portions were good and the whole family was full by the end of it.Service/Ambiance - Service was friendly and attentive. The food came up quickly and requests were fulfilled promptly. Depending on which table you sat at, it could be slightly cramped but it's manageableParking - Plenty of parking in the back. It was packed but they have a second floor lot so finding a spot wasn't bad.

Here for the clay pot

The main reason I came here was to check out their claypot rice. It seems to be pretty popular with local seniors and families probably bc the large portions and reasonable prices. The service is typical Hong Kong style adequate but not very friendly even when one speaks Cantonese with them. We ordered several dishes included a claypot rice. It took quite a while and the rice came out first. It was another 10 minutes before the rest of the dishes came out. That was kinda strange since the claypot rice typically takes the longest to make. Now the claypot rice with pork ribs in black bean sauce. The rice was a little dry and hard. It does have a proper crust at the bottom but the ribs were quite bland. The rest of the dishes were decent and portion quite large. Overall all a decent meal but nothing to write home about.

Not sure if I just came on an off day but I did not enjoy anything I ordered and neither did my cousin's wife. Service was awful and we ordered food for takeout and they never brought it to us. It was just sitting on the takeout table and the servers kept asking if we were leaving. Can't leave if we haven't received all our food..? -Honey Pork Chops: This is different. Came out soggy, not tasting like honey but covered in black pepper and a sweet sauce. I saw the pork chops at the other tables and they were MUCH bigger than the plate I got. Not sure what happened there. -Seafood Tofu: The tofu was good but everything else was pretty bland. The squid was overly chewy. -Spicy Boiled Beef: Cousin's wife says not authentic and not good. I wouldn't come back, even though the clay pot is free with clay pot rice purchase. It's kind of small.

Took over the location of稻香。interior decor remains the same. Not very attractive. Minimum bill to use a credit card is $20. Easily exceeded with the main dishes. Lunch dishes are cheaper than the equivalent dinner dishes by $1. Best deal is tea time from 3-5pm. You can get a good dish with a drink for under $20.Parking: It's a tight parking lot with 2 levels. Some drivers have difficulty going to the upper level with the circular ramp.

Their clay pot rice is excellent because the brown bottom rice shows it was cooked individually each pot. The curry beef rice also great.Parking: Two levels of parking lot with about hundred spaces.

I was there this past Friday (1/19/24). Service was decent. I ordered wonton noodle soup, dried scallop egg fried rice, fish fillet and vegetables, and iced red bean drink. The wontons were not tasty compared to Sam woos or Congee eateries. I will never order wonton noodle soup again! However, their other dishes are better. The fish fillet with vegetables tasted well cooked. The fish was most and tender. The scallop egg fried rice was marginal. It lacked dried scallops. In the past, I have ordered chestnut chicken hot pot. They did a good job with this. The chicken was well seasoned, moist and tasty with good amounts of cooked chestnuts!!

I wanted to try out A Me kitchen for their clay pot rice since it takes less time to cook compared to other places. I was disappointed in the clay pot rice that I ordered. The Salty fish wasn't salty enough (if you eat this, it should be salty and smelly). The other dishes I ordered were mediocre compared to other Chinese style restaurants. The best dish was the vegetables in my opinion. It is a big restaurant with parking so that's a plus.

Came here because I'd read about how quickly their clay pot rices were served. In terms of speed, that was accurate. However, the rice wasn't as flavorful or crispy as 'standard' clay pot rices so I'd say don't come here just for that. We ordered the house special and preserved meat clay pot rices, honey garlic pork chops (really good there, but doesn't reheat well), string beans with minced pork (but didn't really see any minced pork), fish tofu hot pot (my kids really liked the tofu and fish), and steamed chicken (their specialty, which was fine). Since we ordered quite a bit (we had only two adults and three kids, so we ended up with a LOT of leftovers), we got three cups of soup thrown in. The soup was good, but again, I personally prefer the soup at another restaurant on Valley that also specializes in clay pot rices, Anyway, the portions were larger than expected, the service was actually pretty good, and parking is super easy (at least for a ~5:30 p.m. dinner time). I would come back again, but with tempered expectations.

I LOVE claypot rice, and when my friends told me that this place had some special equipment to cook it in 15 minutes, I just had to come try. We tried their spareribs with black bean sauce claypot, chicken and mushroom claypot rice, preserved egg and salted egg with snow pea leaf, fried calamari, and honey glazed pork chops tonight. We found all the food on the lighter side for flavor. The claypots did have some crispiness, but the rice doesn't come apart as whole crispy pieces sadly. All the meats were cooked perfectly in the claypots and not overdone. And the claypots came super quickly! I was definitely impressed with the results in such short time, since I usually wait for almost double the time for claypots at other places. However, my favorite tonight was probably the fried calamari. It was so crispy! I loved the texture of it. We also ordered their milk teas. They didn't have any more hot milk tea, but the cold one was pretty good! The tea flavor was strong. I'll definitely have to try their milk tea hot next time. The service tonight was very quick, and the servers were nice. We were originally seated near a door that opened pretty often, and they helped us move so that it wasn't so cold. Overall the food was pretty good. It would be better if it was a tad saltier and more flavorful, but we still enjoyed all the dishes we ordered tonight.

Good food. Consistent. Their clay pot rice is one of the best ones I've had. I hope more people catch on and try them out. Worthy of a mention.

Let's start with the food. Some good, some not so good. Their Black Pepper Pork Stomach Soup is usually consistent and good. Their clay pot rice bowls are good. Their string beans are usually good. Mapo tofu which most restaurants can't messed up on, they managed to do it here. Tasted kind of sour and weird. It's just not right. Try it and tell me you love that nasty taste. Some of the waitresses there are nice and friendly and do try to serve you. Some of them is like in a rush and needs proper training. Seriously, train some of your waitresses. They are there to serve your customers. If I was paying the tips, I would've given 0 but it was my wife who was too nice. Their promotions being run is a joke. Should never do promotions which you have very limited quantity, maybe about 10 a day? It's some herbal soup that they are doing promotions on. Talk about dumb promotion. Always runs out when you order your food and they don't tell you that it's out in advance. They wanted you to order first and then tell you after they put in that order to the kitchen that it's no longer available. Very bad business practice. This should be told to the customers prior to ordering so if they don't care for it, then they'll order the food or order accordingly. But of course, they want you to spend more money so you're supposed to get more of those free herbal soup that they know is no longer being offerred. Smart move. Maybe I should report this to the BBB or state attorney general to have them change their business practices? You're basically baiting customers by being dishonest. It's not one time. It's many times this have happened. What's even worst is on your receipt, it shows x amount of free herbal soup that you never got. What kind of business does that? Stating something that you gotten for free when you got nothing free except thin air? This dumb establishment is lucky I still give them 2 stars instead of 0 that they deserve.

Good service. Good food. Except price could be a bit cheaper and lesser salty. Afternoon tea is quite decent too.

This is my parent's new found favorite restaurant in the 626 area. We came here on New Year's day and it was absolutely packed, but because we had schedule ahead of time, we got a separate room just for us, which was really nice. The area was clean and service was decent given the amount of people there. I'm not the hugest fan of Chinese food but I'll have to admit that the food was pretty tasty and did not leave me feeling lethargic. Because of this, I would say the favorite item on the menu on here was the Hong Kong Milk Tea. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and it's even more of value when you come during lunch! I know my family and I will definitely be back.
