Ordered friedcrab sliders, butter garlic oysters, lobster with garlic noodles, clam chowder, and some beer. Bill came out to 100 bucks but the food didn't really match the price. The cooked oysters weren't that juicy and I couldn't taste the butter. They actually forgot to bring the clam chowder. The sliders were pretty good with the cucumber adding a crunch and the flavorful aeoli. The lobster was also baked well and delicious but the garlic noodles weren't that memorable. Not bad but nothing special. Food is four stars. Service was kind of bad. A waiter took our order and other wait staff would drop off the food and bounce. And they never checked so I didn't get a chance to mention the missing clam chowder. Will give the place another chance. I want to try the crab there. Dungeoness crab was 79$ each when I went

Came here for Christmas dinner with my friends last weekend. I called and make reservation a week ahead and luckily there was still a spot for my group. We got there at 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was packed even the private rooms. We ordered about 10 dishes and shared family style for our table. The best dishes I like personally was the Hokkaido scallop, oyster, garlic noodle, beef mushroom, and clams. The Hokkaido scallop was really small and thin for the price you actually pay. We also ordered the uni pasta and I had really high hopes, but it was a disappointment. It was very cheesy like a kraft cheese flavor. The service is pretty slow since it was packed. I thoight they were low in staff and had to track them down when we need a refull of water or order some more things. Overall it was a one time dinner place for me.

I was looking for a place to stop for a bite! Big Catch caught my eye and we decided to stop! I'm so glad we did, Great Customer Service and Great Food! If you're looking for Seafood, this is the place!

Expensive and very hit or miss on some dishes. The bbq pork was amazing, but slightly overpriced. The eel fried rice was in all honesty, very bad. Dry, tasteless, and with small bits of overcooked eel. Service was very gruff and below average. Would not recommend.

I have been to big catch multiple times and although the service and food are good, the food is a bit overpriced. My most recent experience left a very negative feeling. I made reservations last night on yelp and it was not honored. They tried to state how they have multiple reservations and cannot accommodate my party. If that's the case what's the point of even having an online reservation system? They even tried to blame me stating the reservation online needs to be at least 20-30 minutes before, which i did do. I did it close to an hour in advance. That being said, I'd rather go elsewhere for my seafood needs.

Food was really good! Clam chowder was hearty! Clams were fresh! I really enjoyed itMy sis had been bringing me home some Smelt when she goes here & I've always loved them! But it's my first time to try it freshly made! Yum! So much better! ? We had house special fried rice, which i also enjoyed. And shrimps & broccoli in crispy vermicelli! This dish was really delicious. The garlicky sauce was awesome! ? And we asked if we can have shrimp instead of pork in sweet and sour sauce as I don't eat meat. They agreed and it was delish! Attentive & friendly staff. Ample seats & parking. Place nice and spacious and clean! ???

Been coming here for work events for a couple of years so I can’t comment on the price (since I’m not the one paying).Parking lot is super busy but you can find a spot.Service was good and they accommodated well to our huge party!Bathrooms are ok. Pretty clean.Food is really good! I looove their garlic noodles, truffle and normal fries, lettuce wrap, kung pao chicken, brussel sprouts, chicken wings, etc etc.

The lobster garlic noodles left me wanting. You're paying over $50 for a less than mediocre dish. Salty, oily and left and after taste. The portions we were told would be for two but after we actually had to go eat somewhere else. Very disappointed.

Been here a couple of times. I love their seafood platter, the one in a big pan with a bunch of seafood inside!!! Overall food is pretty good. Every time I looked at the pictures of the menu, I was salivating as I went through them. Definitely will come back to try other dishes. I have tried the lobster I aster with green onions, some small dish on skewers (they were okay - meat balls, meat, liver, sausage), string beans was good, fried rice was yummy, fillet mignon black pepper is good, and Mongolian beef is extra yummy. I had light heart burnt after I ate. Too much. Haha. Restroom pretty clean and waitress were nice as well. Parking can be tough sometimes, so be patient, and have one of your parties to line up for the table while you are looking for a parking space.

I use to come in here a while back this spot always had great bartenders and a cool happy hour menu I would come in get some oysters and beer then order some happy hour food items i decided to come in today 10/31/22 and I'm very disappointed with the downgrade this place has taken poor customer service no real bartender at the bar just the manager running around like a lunatic the menu says house oysters $2.25 when I asked to order 2 he says "NO HALF DOZEN MINIMUM ORDER ONLY"that's complete bull s*** happy hour doesn't have standards like that you come in to be HAPPY HENCE THE NAME HAPPY HOUR and it also doesn't say that on the menu so if they can afford to reprint new happy hour menus that would be great

I first stumbled upon Big Catch while I was out with a friend around the area. We were looking for some small bites and drinks and decided to check the place out because the happy hour (Mon-Sun 3pm-6pm & 9pm-Last Call) menu looked pretty good. ** Tip: last call is typically until ~9:30pm ** My personal favorites were the garlic noodles, calamari, and spicy peppercorn chicken -- each dish was ~$10 from their happy hour menu. The garlic noodles had a strong garlicky flavor with a slight hint of cheese. The calamari was topped with fried garlic, green onions, and chilis, which is different than traditional calamari but made it super flavorful. And the spicy peppercorn chicken was really juicy and slightly numbing -- it was a little on the saltier side but it did pair really well with the garlic noodles. We also got a couple of drinks (all of which were ~$10 from the happy hour menu). The lychee margarita was the best in my opinion. Overall, highly recommend coming here for happy hour if you're looking for flavorful food and a chill place to grab drinks with some friends. ** Disclaimer: I'm not sure about what their actual menu is like because I've only ever come for happy hour. **

I've been to this location at Alhambra a couple of times in the past few years. I started coming here because I want a quick American style seafood restaurant and Big Catch used to be it. It seems like they are incorporating more Chinese style dishes into their menu. I mean if I wanna have Chinese style seafood, there are plenty other restaurants that I can go to. On the other hand, now I mainly come here for their uni pasta and the taste has been super consistent. Very creamy. I do see many people come here and order Chinese dishes and that makes me wonder if it's good or it's just some fancy overpriced Chinese style seafood. Service: servers were pretty attentive. I have nothing to complaint about.

Came here with a big party for my dad's birthday. We were sat outside per request. We ordered multiple dishes but I have to say only the oysters really stood out. My cousin liked the calamari a lot and how the dishes gave a lot of green onions. We ordered the Peking duck which came with a couple of wraps. Definitely wasn't enough so we ordered more. However we had to remind them multiple times. Only after 30 mins or so they came out and by that time the duck was already cold so it was quite disappointing. I think I'd only come back here during happy hour for oysters unfortunately.
