OMG I could not eat another bite... Shrimp Bay omelette.... awesome! Companion ordered Popeye special . Double awesome. My English muffin was toasted perfectly and hash browns also came out great . Did not know they were shakes there until we looked under desserts , voila there they were. Never going to a fast food for shakes again while Bun n Burger is open. Real ice cream homemade shakes $4 much larger than any you can get had to drive thru. My only complaint is that they close at 3:00 and aren't open 24/7 . Of course then I would be a much heavier person, so it's better the way it is . Can't wait to go back and try different meals!!
Parking: There's a small lot behind the restaurant . There's street parking but when it's crowded you have to park a little ways away . Worth it though .

We hadn't eaten here for years because we moved out of state. It was such a joy to discover our old haunt hadn't changed a bit! Great food at reasonable prices in a comfortably traditional setting. Our breakfast selections were top notch diner fare, both the American and Mexican menu are great.

I love Bun N Burger and used to go there all the time when I lived closer. I was in my old neighborhood and decided to treat myself to what I remembered as the best breakfast burrito around. I was so sad that it was the worst breakfast burrito I've ever had. The eggs were rubbery, hashbrown potatoes were so dry, and no cheese. Really? It made me very sad and I bought three burritos to share with friends after bragging about Bun N Burger so kind of embarrassing, too.

My Mom's favorite spot in Alhambra .. Good authentic Mexican food and she would know she's an expert! ?
As old school as it gets. Prefer the counter since it gets busy on weekends. Extensive menu but the basics are great. Popeye omelette, chorizo con huevos, hand and eggs all good choices. Cash only, keep your group small.
