Me and my partner visited on Sunday morning to have a bowl of menudo. Heads up we had breakfast here on the weekends with the owners 20 years ago when they served menudo in a ceramic bowl with everything on top (onions cilantro and a slice of lemon and you got it two ways red or white and credit or cash was accepted. We sat down and received the menu and a small bowl of chil sauce but no chips and the bowl was dirty. We loved the little old lady that was working all the tables and we tipped her. But that was not good menudo and just a chile bowl and no chips plus it was used. Sorry but long for the old days.

This place was cool before Covid but now it suck’s. Still cash only so come prepared. My waffle was burnt and dry. The syrup was awful and made my crummy waffle taste worse. Ask for a refill in my soda and the lady tried to charge me for a new one even though the menu stated at the bottom in small print I get one refill. Not coming back. Rather try my luck at an IHOP or Dennys.

This spot has a charming antique shop vibe, and it's actually interesting to look around the restaurant. We'd read some reviews about unfriendly service, but we didn't have that issue with our server. In fact, we thought the staff was pretty friendly overall

I recently went there I pass by this place on the way home from work. Lived in the area all my life but never once walked in. Till now I was pleasantly surprised other people commented on the atmosphere that was ok. The food is good the service slow and it's cash only and but other than that it was nice I'll be back.

An excellent old-school burger. A burger that will make you smile.
Menudo is consistently excellent, burgers are great too. We usually come for breakfast and the prices can't be beat. Cash only. The atmosphere is fun and gives you plenty of cool memorabilia to look at and discuss with your table. The Owner and her family are friendly and hard working. Happy to support them.

First time coming here after living in the area for years and I’m so frustrated that I didn’t try it sooner. This place has great food and friendly employees. Their prices are noticeably lower than nearby locations and it’s probably because of their cash only business. The closest ATM is at the CVS a block away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes diners. This place has way better quality of food than the IHOP or Denny’s nearby. I tried their breakfast and lunch and it was great. I’ll be a regular here from now on.

OMG I could not eat another bite... Shrimp Bay omelette.... awesome! Companion ordered Popeye special . Double awesome. My English muffin was toasted perfectly and hash browns also came out great . Did not know they were shakes there until we looked under desserts , voila there they were. Never going to a fast food for shakes again while Bun n Burger is open. Real ice cream homemade shakes $4 much larger than any you can get had to drive thru. My only complaint is that they close at 3:00 and aren't open 24/7 . Of course then I would be a much heavier person, so it's better the way it is . Can't wait to go back and try different meals!!
Parking: There's a small lot behind the restaurant . There's street parking but when it's crowded you have to park a little ways away . Worth it though .
