Their teas were good and their service was great. I initially did not like the egg waffle because it was sloppy and obviously not worth $6.50, the staff gave it to me then walked away. Before I could say anything else, another staff member ( I think it was the owner) came up and offered to make me another one crispy and nice. Thank you.

They are franchised from the Bay Area legend, Cha Express in San Mateo! I'm glad to run into this store randomly while visiting my aunt here in LA. Their Yunnan tea has a unique smoky flavor, and their boba is very Q. I encourage people to try them out!

Love this place! Super low key, came here on a weekday night after Salju (same plaza). The owner was very sweet. We came specifically for the crème brûlée crepe which would take some time to make, he offered us a free drink for the additional wait. Really enjoyed the black rice bubble milk, the yunnan tea was also very flavorful. 50% sweet here will actually be not that sweet. Could totally see myself studying here if not for the midday closure. There were plenty of open tables and a few wall outlets.

This is a review of their Milk Tea - I wasn't interested in their desserts at the time of visit. Here's a tip: If you see a milk tea shop with Yunnan (云南) written anywhere on their menu, order that drink. Tea leaves from Yunnan province never disappoints. Being the case, I had to order their Yunnan Black Milk Tea. I ordered it at 75% sweetness, which was perfect. They also honor the less ice request. The tea taste is strong and distinct - but not to a point where it overpowers the sweetness. I definitely recommend anyone coming here to order this drink. The basic black milk tea at any other shop can't compare to this Yunnan black milk tea.Their boba pearls are soft and chewy, but aren't 100% flavorful. There is definitely more flavor to be sought after, but they were pretty decent otherwise. One thing I wished they did better on was to include more boba pearls. I ran out of boba pearls a little over half my drink, which left the latter portion just drinking a milk tea. This place came out to almost $15 for 2 drinks, which is on the expensive side. If their drinks were cheaper with the same quality and a little more boba pearls, it would make this place worth coming back to. For the time being though, the price is a little hard to justify in a market so saturated. Service was okay - it took a few minutes to make our drink when we were the only ones, but then again, I saw the employee boiling boba pearls in front of my eyes. She also wasn't the most attentive, but you get used to it after dining in Chinese food and drink places in SGV.

We’ve placed an order in the morning to pick up the food at 2:35pm, we got there around 3:30pm the food was still not yet ready. The store was pretty empty and only one person working there. She told us that we still needed to wait 30 mins to get our food and it ended up that we asked for a refund. Extremely disappointing experience.

Awesome place! Crepe crème brûlée was very interesting in a good way. Drinks made from scratch basically

We were looking for a boba place right after lunch and we searched on Yelp for some recommendations. This was the closest from where we were and it also had decent reviews.Upon entering, the girl in the cashier just looks at us blankly then proceeds to saying "what's your order?" in a very unhelpful tone. We ordered four milk teas which all came out very good but it took a while for them to make the drinks because both people working were very slow and still had the time to use their phones.I was happy because they offer in the menu crepes just like the famous Millet Crepes in Sawtelle and Little Tokyo but I ENDED UP BEING SO DISAPPOINTED. I can't believe I paid for something like that. It was very stale and dry. You can tell the crepe was not made fresh in the kitchen, and even the custard was too watery in texture. It was just disgusting.I believe the owner of the cafe is an older Asian guy who was also there during the time we visited but he was just sitting on a table not doing anything even if another customer before us complained to have her drink remade. This place I guess is okay if you want something "just right".

Ordered on 9/15/2023 around 9pmThe store was empty and with only one other group of customers inside, yet my order of 1 smoothie took over 20mins to make.To top it all off the workers there that night (female then male) seemed to be not too friendly but i can understand as they were holding down the place as a one person team. But ultimate i would like some communication as a customer if my drink is going to take an ungodly amount of time to make. Also the guy worker was a-hole for not letting a CUSTOMER use a chair outside without making a fuse. Like bro go handle your store.Drink was $6 and change but was worth like $3-4 max. Small cup and average flavor. Went inside to check it out since i was there for salju but i dont think i would be returning ever, should've just got salju (which was packed and still had faster lines). All around bad experience.

I tried calling when they opened to place an order but no one picked up. I arrived shortly after and ordered 2 drinks and the creme brûlée crepe. There were no customers in the store at the time. The ordering process was painfully slow and so was waiting for order fulfillment. The green haired worker wore the same pair of gloves the entire transaction including when she made my crepe. She handled the cash register, picked stuff off the ground and made drinks/ food all without ever washing her hands or changing out the gloves. The oolong milk black rice tea was underwhelming. The rice was slightly hard. I wish I went with 75% sweet instead of 50% because it was not sweet enough. The crepe was only okay. The Crepe was cold, soggy and premade. The cream was good and the torched topping was thin. None of this was worth the 30 minutes it took from ordering to receiving the completed order. Definitely will not be a repeat customer. Nothing was stand out and the wait was outrageously long for a pre a pre made crepe that just requires the toppings.

First time getting a black rice drink and it was yummy! Wished i ordered 100% instead of 75% (I got sweet tooth). The oolong tea was okay, it didn't have a strong tea flavor. The boba was soft and chewy. There's a small parking lot and seating inside. You can order on the tablet.
